Fender Precision Pb70-US Nat Maple CIJ *Now Sold*

I had one for a short space of time. It felt uncomfortably light to me and the pups really didn't have the clout I expected, especially the P. Mr Hux probably did the right thing, as basswood certainly seems to have different properties to alder and perhaps just needs those slightly more powerful pups. Be interesting to know if anybody has done the East thing with one!

Onwards and upwards Lozz. Cliche but nothing does last forever. Take the good memories with you whilst you still have then, then go create some new good memories with somebody else. Enjoy fella. Karl. -
Why do you need to email them? The UK dealers are listed on the Lakland website. there is only I've emailed them a couple of times and got prompt replies. The first time Dan Lakin answered my questions personally.
I can only find The Gallery and Guitar Guitar. Stocks are low, most things by order. That to me is not good distribution, The last twice I have mailed them responses have been relatively quick admittedly. The responses were both sadly negative though.

Great bass company, woeful UK distribution, Yet you email them about getting some stockists in the UK and they just don't seem bothered. Sad.
Well, I went for that roadworn Jazz bass I was thinking about purchased from fellow bc member The finish is superb It really does look genuinely roadworn I can't believe just how well it plays I've heard others talk of this series being as good as they are talked up to be it plays superbly, sounds great ..... and I love it Would I swap it for a brand new, shiny, unmarked example? Nah....
Hope you didn't find a RW Fiesta Red jazz on here before me
Desperately is right. That thing is lovely! I could swear I was just talking to you Karl XD
In a parallel universe known as Gumtree! Don't look at Peterbuilt, there are things like Burgundy Mist P's, Sea Foam Jazzes and Jaguars, Pagoda green Cabronita's. Oh, the above jazz is Candy Apple Orange apparently!

Well JBF, I'm desperately trying to avoid getting this from Peterbuilt in Holland. Anybody liking custom Fender colours, made for them, really should avoid! Anybody tried these? FSR Sea Foam or Black PJ Deluxe Passive
karlfer replied to karlfer's topic in Bass Guitars
The link in Karls original post shows £683 which for a Precision with P/J pickups, and maple fretboard with blocks is I`m sure going to entice a lot of people to part with their cash. I hope I`m sensible enough to resist.
Won't be that many Lozz. Word seems to be only 100 of each making it out of the good old US of! -
Ahem...your Sadowsky is active! ;-)
And passive VTC -
I had one of the FSR Sea Foam PJ's from 2012. Excellent bass, but sold it, erm, twice. Just not an active sort of bloke. Now they have brought a passive FSR P/J out, in Sea Foam Pearl or Black gloss . The details don't seem to be accurate from Fender, apparently jazz nut and Bad ***11 bridge, not what is stated in the tech spec from Fender . No doubt everybody else saw these months ago and I missed it, so any comments would be appreciated. I know the Sea Foam I had was superbly made.
