1. Absolute steal, one of these at that price. Amazed this hasn't gone, good luck Ash.
2.
You're welcome
3. Original spec from Alex stated suitable for amps between 150 - 600 watts RMS. Don't think many of the hundreds of Compact owners have ever complained about lack of volume
4. Only this and the two Traveler 210's left now. Hope your Compact goes Paul, amazed it's still for sale tbh. Now, if I end up not selling this head, here's a bit of fun regarding what I will do with it http://basschat.co.uk/topic/261195-what-colour-amp-ideas-please/
5. I have just had the pleasure of meeting Alan. Lovely fella, very decisive and a very good player to boot./ Those lines on that beautiful white Miller sounded fabulous Alan. Deal with utmost confidence folks, Alan is one of life's nice guys. Cheers Alan, and now frighten those guitarists
6. Many thanks Nick. It is a bargain IMO. Really surprised it's still here
7.
That could be a good shout. I've only tried the Little Mark series and currently got a SA450, so don't know how the Tube/TTE sound. I'm assuming they sound very good though, with a good solid EQ range. Nice little plug too...
Nope, a nice little plug would have been; Or a Markbass Little Mark TUBE 800, buy mine!
8. Keep 'em coming guys, thank you. Some great ideas. Some of you have obviously given your carers the slip .

I've "chatted" to Martin many times over the last few years but this is the first time I have met or dealt with him. Had a fabulous couple of hours talking all things bass and putting the world to rights. AND WHAT A FANTASTIC MIMIC, at times I was close to crying with laughter. Needless to say easy faultless deal, but an absolute pleasure to boot. WATCH OUT FOR..................his fabulous White Stingray SUB coming up for sale, a really great bass . Difficult resisting it and I don't like Stingrays. All the best fella, speak soon and thanks again.
10. And replied. Thanks Alan.
11. Thanks guys, I knew there be bonkers-ness I'm loving these ideas
12. It looks very much like I will be keeping my Little Mark TUBE 800, as nae bugger wants to buy it. The top and bottom are scratched badly. I can do nothing about the bottom. I own a Rive fishing box, and lots of other Rive owners get custom coloured framework done. Stripped and powder coated. I am going to remove the lid from the amp and get that stripped and powder coated on the top. My question to you, Basschat massive is this. WHAT COLOUR? My thoughts so far; Yellow, match knobs, speakers, have a stack that looks like a Turner Prize Wasp. White. Toon colours. Black. Meh Any of you lot good with that photoshop stuff? Ta, Karl. 13. With great regret, I must announce a reduction on this cabinet. Something I very rarely do. This means this cab is no longer in the bargain category, it has moved to the steal category (that's my opinion, no others count ) So, if you were to collect this by Monday evening, it would be £375. I would meet up within 50 miles of Wigan. If you were to take this and the Little Mark Tube 800, I would do them both together for a very splendid £700 COLLECTED. REDUCED , by me , I need a lie down.
14. It's one of those scratchinesses patch. First fired it up, no scratchiness. Fired it up couple of hours later, bit of scratchiness. Just think it's lack of use.
15. My second deal with Chris. He really is remarkable. Cliché, but, he is simply the best. Many many thanks Chris and enjoy the confusing tuning up
16. Just completed a trade with Patrick, our second deal. The head was in simply phenomenal condition and he is just a complete, easy pleasure to deal with. Doesn't get easier. Cheers again Patch and enjoy that PUMA
17. Thanks all. Sorry guys I've spent the last couple of hours answering pm's, Faecesbook has gone berserk for it. When I fired it up again tonight, the volume pot has a tiny bit of scratchiness between kind of zero and one. It is now a lot better, think it's possibly not been used for quite a while. A member is having a test run tomorrow and will advise me, but until then it's on hold for him. Cheers, Karl.
18. Thanks chaps, PM'S replied. Cheers, Karl.
19. Gone thanks
20. A Compact still here after 6 days? Is Britain's bass community on holiday? Bump for a splendid chap and cab!
21. That is stunning. Wish I'd seen it before I trade my PUMA. GLWTS.
22. Speaking on behalf of all mentally ill mitten wearing Yetis.......... P/J. The end.
23. I'm the same but mine arrived an hour ago. So I've stopped looking It will be up for sale tonight(took it as trade as Patch really wanted my PUMA). Gotta say though, it looks bloody gorgeous and can't wait to fire it up. But now I'm on the HOME TIME wait, to try it, then photo .
24. Thanks guys. Nice Wife Lewis I will have a Markbass TTE going up tomorrow night. If that goes before this, I will get the lid of this powder coated and keep it. Very surprised this is still here at this price, but there is quite a bit of interest on Facebook, so it may go before the TTE.
25.
Markbass on it's own will probably be too clean for that warm, vintage, woody tone. However, Markbass with a sansamp, or even behringer VT pedal, that will nail it.
Or perhaps a Markbass TUBE 500 or 800, OR Markbass TTE500 also with tubes/valves.
