1. Hmmm, random guesses but The basses for sale forum moves up to a couple of pages per day Perhaps on average 8-10 or so new items added per day Have a quick look at the page every day for new stuff coming up. Use the search button for anything else
2. Strangely enough I played through my MB Club 600 last night and had forgotten how really big sounding it was. Might hatch a plan to work round that if it doesn't sell. But these sure are nice, bump.
3. Really sorry this didn't work out for you Gareth. This is a lovely bass, with the harder to find maple fretboard. Gareth is a really nice guy to deal with, you will be getting a great looking and playing jazz. GLWTS
4. Sorry, it was, it didn't happen. I'm trying to sell that much gear in that many places
5. REDUCED, PLEASE SEE POST #4 Stopped gigging this when we bought a new car that wouldn't go down the drive. In mid fifties I did not want to be power lifting 61lbs of cab over the top of a car at 2am. Hence my 2 Traveler 210p's. Anyway link to the model http://www.richtonem...ker_cabinet.asp Overall in good condition but there are a few chips and I've just noticed one of the corner bits is not on properly. Comes with a hideously battered Roqsolid cover, that will just about keep the rain off. Please, this is not cosmetically perfect but it is a REAL FULL FAT cab that can thump for Britain. Do me a favour and collect from Wigan and it's yours for £400. Will courier UK mainland for an extra £50 insured. Can discuss meeting up between limits of Brum, Leeds, Carlisle. My feedback is below, payment by cash on collection or bank transfer. Any trial in Wigan, any questions please fire away. Condition wise it's not perfect but it really is an exceptional cab. And even old me can carry it one handed (for about 20 yards ). Amp head not included, cheers, Karl. 6. I need to keep clearing stuff out. This LM Tube 800 has scratches on top and bottom so cosmetically is far from perfect. The light on the photos make it look worse than it is, but it's a well gigged head, used it for a long time. Couple of corners have slight dints, do not expect cosmetic perfection. It is still a superb amp and you can't see the cosmetics from a couple of feet away. And yes, if asked to I would gig it tonight. I stopped gigging this when we got a new car, that won't go down the drive, so I had to lift the cab I used with this (also for sale) over the car at 2am. Did not do that for long! I will include a laptop bag so it gets to you safely. Anyway, a very splendid £350 collected from Wigan or another £15 UK insured courier. Bank transfer or cash on collection please. My feedback at bottom of thread, any trial in Wigan is fine. Any questions please fire away, cheers, Karl. 7. Oooh purdy Better get some gear up myself then I feel a funding mission coming on. Damn I'm so weak!
8. This sit's really uncomfortably with me. David's feedback is exemplary. So is Javier's up to this point. If I had received that bass I would have been disappointed. If it had been in this country I would probably have tried to sort it face to face. One thing is sure, although we can only see one side of it, in my mind it has cast a cloud of nervousness over future trades/sales. As a confirmed "ooooh, purdy/shiny, must buy" weak willed magpie gear whore, this makes me think twice about buying. Not selling, as even in the VERY unlikely scenario I do sell a dog, I will offer to do what I can to put it right. I don't want to get in trouble and really it's none of my business, but I'm going to PM a Mod. And............. Bump.
9. Mouse mat has worked for me for years.
10. So, this was sold on Gumtree last Sunday. "Please take the advert down, I will collect it on Thursday evening". Still waiting, no response to text or e mail. AND SHE'S A f***ing MUSIC TEACHER Edit. Oh, and bump.
11. I need to be careful what I say here, but it is a real shame the circumstances David has found himself in. I doubt I would have shown such restraint and dignity. GLWTS bump.
12. Very kind Mr Floop . On hold. Thanks all.
13. Put your photos on Photobucket. Keep your Basschat advert open on one page. Open your photobucket page separately. Double click on the photo you want, to open it up. To the right of the photo will be 4 options. The bottom option will be something like IMG, with a rectangular box next to it, starting URL= Click in the rectangular box (URL= ) and it will briefly turn yellow, and flash up "copied" Return to your Basschat advert and click paste. Sounds tricky but I'm 143 and I figured it! Good luck.
14. Great amp. Great buy. Great bloke. Still here Bump.
15. Some photos of the actual item may help. Interesting link, post #37 is very interesting http://basschat.co.uk/topic/159447-ebs-reidmar/page__st__20 GLWTS
16. Don't worry if you miss out, there are 2 available
17. Lovely bass but it's a tough crowd at the moment. Keep your eye on the basses wanted bits (how's that for a statement of the bleedin obvious )
18. Daft isn't it. A year ago any PUMA coming up for sale was gone quickly, usually in a couple of days. Good luck with the sale, these German engineered and manufactured amps have a deservedly excellent reputation.
19. I'm the same as Gary, even though my 2 Markbass 210p Travelers are up for sale. The only reason for that is eyeball lust for Dusty's Purple Chili rig. The vertical 2 x 210's really does work great with a tiny stage footprint to boot. Sadly more room for gaytartists
20. Well Chris, I have the same neck, but with jazz nut/profile being made by Warmoth. About another 5 weeks before it's finished, then I'll be putting the original P nut width/profile up for sale. Have a bump for asking Good luck with this amazing bass. Bump.
21. Thought most of these were P/J s ?
22. Forgot to add this from Saturday night, just to show that despite it's excellent condition, it gets gigged. German engineered and made, 3LB in weight, powerhouse of an amp A year ago this wouldn't have been up for more than a couple of days, even at a higher price. Sorry, camera phone picture
23. Don't worry about perfect fit, get a padded laptop bag, with front pocket (for cables) from Tesco for £15. Worked for me for the last three years. Good luck, Karl.
24. Lovely. I recently bought a bass off Chris and to be honest, he was exceptional to deal with. Good luck with this stunning bass Chris. Doubt you will need it.
