9.
Thanks for the compliment. It's Daphne Blue. Somewhat faded but very nice. :-)
Very nice indeed - looks like its faded into a sonic blue (my favourite colour in a bass!)
 10. Linus27 did an interview with Derek Forbes for Basschat, a few years back: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/94210-basschat-derek-forbes-interview/

 12.
Denmark is in the EU and has the Danish crown as currency; it is highly unlikely that a buyer there would want to pay in Euros.
I have bought a bass from Denmark where the seller had priced it in EUR. Guess he was expecting to get a buyer from with the Euro zone

 18.
congrats, beautiful bass and the NAMM pic also shows the lovely Willy Weekes green P bass that I owned as did Paulie (still in his avatar in this thread)
There's a lot of Basschat history in that photo! The spalted maple one in the middle was mine - sold to Harry, who in turn sold it to Birdy. The racing green one was brought over to the UK by Darren from the Bass Merchant and bought by Birdy. I think the one on the far right is the root beer one owned by Basshog - not sure about that one, mind So, who's the new owner of this fine lg4? And where the hell is Birdy these days?
 19.
What I do wish though is that people would put some text to say what it is, so that if I don't want to look I don't have to.
Agreed, I don't bother viewing unless I know what it is and think it might be interesting. Probably been guilty of doing the same myself, mind
 20. Bought a Wal base from Allan recently. Great to deal with - the bass arrived very well packaged and exactly as described. P
 21.
Removed the pickup and the bridge cover but although I usually don't like flatwounds I've kept them on the bass..They give the bass a certain "honk" without sounding too bassy.. recorded a short clip with the bass.
Nice playing Geert! Really glad you're enjoying the bass P
