Nile Rodgers got the bass player he wanted. If he was looking for a Bernard clone I'm sure he could have found someone to copy his style. It wastn't what he was looking to do. When I last left feedback for Si, I ended it by saying "I have a feeling that this won't be the last of our transactions" Sure enough, I just been over to see Si again this evening and collect a fine bass. Always a pleasure to deal with one of Basschats finest!

Called in to see Dave yesterday and buy a bass from him. Nice easy transaction and would be happy to recommend Dave to anyone.

New Kings Road Guitars have the ex Noah and the Whale precision bass on their eBay store They claim its an 1963 pre CBS bass and the neck plate looks ok to me, However, the headstock decal is from '68, as far as I can see (looking closely at the sanded down bits) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FENDER-PRECISION-1963-EX-NOAH-AND-WHALE-PRE-CBS-FENDER-BASS-/390492336919 I'm no expert on these matters, though that just looks wrong
