1.
I have a Wal Pro11 E, can anyone tell me if it will devalue the bass if I get it resprayed ?
Yes.
2. Main basses at the moment: '81 Ibanez Blazer - £150 Spector NS2000 - £120 Basses sold (or due to be) recently due to lack of activity - Spector Euro 4 Rickenbacker 4003 '79 Fender Precision.
3.
Would you like to swap for Markbass Traveler 121H?
It's for sale only I'm afraid.
4. [sup]
Just to totally confirm from the picture is this the square or rectangle version? thanks
[/sup] [sup]It's the original series NEO, the rectangular one. [/sup]
5. I bought Craig's GK 2x12. A fair and trustworthy gent throughout. Deal with confidence!
6. I bought this cab from a fellow Basschatter just a fortnight ago, however I soon realised I couldn't really afford it so it needs to go. At 28kg it's pretty light and very powerful at 600w rms. This is the 8ohm version. The cab is in very good condition with only a bit of very light scuffing to the side and back of the covering. I need a quick sale so will let this go for £280 including shipping to mainland UK. This is a GK glamour shot but it's the same model - I'm struggling to upload any on here but if anyone needs any particular shots of the cab let me know and I'll sort some out. 7.
I "think" it was a jazz bass on the record, but a Stringray in the video.
Probably was. I can't even remember what it sounds like, just the video.
8. It's a Stingray, if memory serves me well.
9. I could get one of those... Flog the pickups... Get some Mike Lull replacements...
10.
http://basschat.co.u...ost__p__1010023
Well that will teach me to make such rash statements! Feel a bit stupid now. It seems Liberace is always lurking somewhere, even in death.
11.
thinking I like this, Bump.
Thanks, have another bump on me.
12. Someone buy this bass.
13. I played through an EBS rig with a Fafner head when I did a few gigs in Germany. It remains the best sounding amp I have ever played through.
14. Definitely humbuckers. And you only need one for that Wishbone Ash sound!
15.
But hey, I've trashed this thread enough as it is...so I'll bow but no one will ever convince me that both were not terrible players..or would have been in other units, IMO.
Utterly ridiculous statement.
16. I his technique allows him to play that way, to come up with those wonderful runs and fills (not to mention that incredible tone), I would say his technique is pretty much spot-on.
17. For all you weight-watchers out there - this bass weighs between 10.5lb and 11lb. Weight measurements courtesy of a set ot bathroom scales and a Nintendo Wii.
18. Will get the weight asap. Bump for now.
