If this was a 6 I would have already ran at you with a bag of cash...
2. Went through a hugely detailed process when Binky was made. I still firmly believe that no other bass can beat what Fred from Bee Basses made for me, though understandably 10 strings isn't for everyone! His build quality however is insane, makes Fordera look like a Squier. So yeah, as custom dream basses go, I'm very lucky to already have mine!
3. Sent him a message the other day explaining it was far from a Fender... no reply, but at least he had the decency to amend the listing.
4. Www.ceoemail.com Find the CEO's email address and go direct, literally always helps get your issue tended to. If you're really wanting to get noticed google their board of directors and use the same email formula as the CEO (usually [email protected]) and send your complaint to everyone once a day. Works a treat.

6. What are you looking for in terms of part ex? Also whats the minimum cash you want out of a deal? I really shouldn't, but I quite fancy this!
7. Indeed. Finally got a move in date so this, my piano and my Laz-e-boy must go! Gunna be a struggle to fit the 'collection' in as it is...
8. Gunna bin these next week unless anyone wants them...
9. Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/253051790111 Just why?
10.
Go on, De Gier basses are simply perfect !
I agree, you will not find a better bass anywhere than a De Gier. Absolutely superb basses.
11. If this is the bass I think it is then it looks awesome... however the picture links don't work!
12. Didn't know they did Studio Thunderbirds! The action would worry the crap out of me though, I can't imagine anyone choosing to have action that high which would then suggest a neck issue, be it warped or such.
13. Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201983312792 I'm no Gibson aficionado but this doesn't look right to me... could be wrong though? The headstock looks off and there are no ridges on the body, the bridge looks wrong too... is this not legit or is it a strange variation of the well known bird? I am curious.
14. I know this might be late in the day but whenever I get shafted by a company I usually go straight to their CEO and make enough noise that it's simply easier for them to cave in that it is to have me keep contacting them... CEOs seem to hate being contacted by anyone and if they have to buy you off or settle with you, they usually do. With that being said, have these details: CEO of Parcelhero: "][email protected] - 0208 758 4988 (generic number): CEO of UPS: "][email protected] (US) "][email protected] (UK) Fire off some stern but diplomatic emails... any CEO worth their salt would rather help a customer and settle a problem than end up in court.
15. The point is simply should one pay a fee if the fee is not mentioned and prior agreed? My opinion is no. The fee in question seems fair, however the fact it was imposed without prior agreement is not fair. I wouldn't mind paying a £30 fee that is either deducted from the commission upon selling or that is paid upon the withdrawl of the bass from sale so long as the fee is agreed and stated. That I believe is the only bone of contention here.
16. A bit of a description might help mate, also the correct spelling of your town!
17. I think some people (myself included) get a bit miffed when asked to pay fees that are unexpected or not explained, even if said fees are reasonable. Maybe charge £30 for the service involved and say it'll be minused from the commission fee if/when the item sells. Keeps everyone in the know!
18. It sounds good mate, not had a massive chance to get to know it yet, the treble dial on the EQ seems dead, though there was only a rather beaten up Squier bass on hand to test it with. Needs a service but that's about it. Interesting to know it was used at Live 8, good little bit of history there! The cab is heavier than I remembered and I remember them being heavy! Will see if I can get used to moving this tank again.
19. Hi, I recently picked up a Trace Elliot V-Type 300H with an 8x10 Trace Elliot cab that was used during the 2005 Live 8 concert in London, it has been signed by 14 different artists, I can identify 4 of the signatures but the other 9 I am struggling to ID. If anyone recognises any of the signatures I'd be grateful to know who they are! The ones I am aware of are Neil Hannon from The Divine Comedy (once on the head and once on the cab), Joss Stone (on the the rear of the head) and Fran Healy from Travis (on the Trace Elliot badge on the cab). If you know who any of the others are please let me know!
