Things that annoy me?? We're putting an album together but can't agree on which mix to include of each song....some of them are up to v25 already - I'm sure v12 was better...... It's like a never ending story

I do know of one huge EDM hit that was : Barber's Adagio for strings

Or that when polishing the ports in the cylinder head you broke through from one port to the next and resorted to rebuilding the wall with araldite.....(this is based on a true story...ahem)

i have a 6 string acoustic and a 6 string electric I can't play them I couldn't even if my life depended on it - I only have them to experiment with melodies which I play as though I was playing a bass - ie 1 note at a time I do get confused at intervals when we get to the B string (positions relative to the G string)

When we're writing we initially have a 'map' of the song laid out on the floor on sheets of A3 paper for all to see Part A > part B > part A> PartC > Part A >PartB etc.... We play it a few times We then remember it tsimples

I eventually got a reply from these guys. They seem to think from the fault I describe that the monitor is 'beyond economic repair'. cow poop a couple of capacitors for sure - so they want me to replace BOTH my monitors GRR!!!! What a waste!

I use a PT nano+ with T-Rex Chamelon PS velcroed underneath. I drilled off the original pathetic feet on the nano+ and replaced with tall rubber feet so that there was enough space under for the power supply. Can use 9V and 12V pedals at the same time.

Mixes for our new album that seems to have taken for ever to put together.... Got to choose which mixes of which tracks to put on it and choose a sequence in the old fashioned way.....the way some of the others are referring to SIde1 and Side2 suggests that they may have ideas of pressing up vinyl as well as release on the usual formats (CD, iTunes, amazon).. We'll see

It is very easy to sand the holes too large ( i know this to my cost) so ever since that mistake I use a bolt with large washers as a clamp and slowly tighten the nut on the bolt thereby pushing the bushes in. On the bolt which is almost the the same diameter as the inside of the bush I have 2 rubber tap washers and 2 steel washers and a nut. The rubber washers cushion the steel washers and prevent them cutting into the wood or scratching the bushes. Go slowly, keep everything square and squeezing bushes in is simple.

I think the electrolytic capacitors in one of my KRK RP6 G2 monitors need replacing. It crackles whenever it is powered up whether an input is connected or not. Is anyone local to me (Dunstable/Hemel/Watford/Luton) who could do this for me?

We don't play often but when we do we normally get there by plane. Our last 15 gigs have been in Barcelona, Valencia, Milan, Rome, Los Angeles, Phoenix, San francisco, Sacramento, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver, Austin, Lisbon, Porto, London Of those 15 only 1 did not involve a plane in getting there.

You'll probably find that once the strings are on and are under tension the front of the bridge will no longer be so 'raised'. Although 'a few mm' sounds like a HUGE gap to me.....perhaps if it was a mm or less
