  1. Children's parties and bar mitzvahs
  2. Actually it's not a standard body coz it's string through.... It must be a reshaped Classic - probably the Shuker one posted above
  3. It's clearly not a Classic or if it is it's either been reshaped or had a stamdard Stingray body fitted
  4. not an 8 track cartridge player? Your scrapped car must've been a bit modern for the scappy
  5. I still CD everything. I had to fight to get my band to commit to releasing our soon to be released new album on CD as well as vinyl and the download formats though, despite many of our 'fans' having got upset that last years's 12" vinyl EP hadn't been available on CD.
  6. Apart from being tuned CGDA? so 7 frets apart rather than 5 ? Seems totally alien to me Edit: I'd get my intervals all wrong
  7. That doesn't look like an original bridge Mine (owned from new) has threaded saddles - this doesn't.
  8. Another - with a wall - this one taken in Athens
  9. My Sterling HH can get very deep and dubby when running on the neck pickup with the treble rolled off.... A Stingray HH would be much the same with a fatter neck
  10. Are you still an EBMM dealer? It doesn't look like it as nothing comes up when filter 'to Order'
  11. but using it at gigs would be illegal
  12. How about sat in front of a wall on pieces of ancient wall?? .this photo wasn't staged - it was taken outside the colosseum in Rome - 2 of the band are missing - one of them taking the photo probably I am Ray-banned in centre sporting a barefaced tee
  13. I leave the amp flat and adjust the input gain stage of the pre-amp so that it isn't clipping - I do tone fiddling on the bass knobs.
  14. Posting fine from firefox 59.0.3 (64-bit) and W7pro here
  15. When i drilled mine off I replaced the rivets with jacknuts so I could screw on longer rubber feet to provide clearance for a TRex underneath. Worked a treat and far easier than tapping the hole.
  16. yeah but he's playing a jazz? with that hair? something is wrong with that picture
  17. We have 2 members resident in Croxley Green, 1 currently in Brixton, 1 in Wandsworth and me in Dunstable....we rehearse in Watford - easy for the Croxley Greeners (4miles) and me (18miles) ...something of a PITA for the south London posse... That said we have a band meeting today in....Wandsworth...listening to final mixes of the album and going for some slap up nosh together.
  18. I was once walking along Kensington High Street staring at my feet when Nicholas Lyndhurst was walking in the opposite direction, also staring at his feet. We collided.
  19. Why not look at Watford? We've got commuters from Brixton, Wandsworth, Dunstable and 2xCroxley Green and use Sanctuary in Watford - easy for M1/M25 and connected to Clapham by train https://www.sanctuarystudioswatford.com/
  20. I have 3 Ps with Babicz FCH bridges on them - these bridges are very comfortable to play -no screws to dig onto your hand. And they look like soemthing special.
  21. When my current band call it a day I suspect I will too. Nothing will ever match it.
  22. the SLO necks are more like Sterling necks - narrow and slimline
  23. I like that...shame it's not for a Sterling HH or I'd have it
  24. Does that make the Sterling a 1970 Opel GT Coupe? - being of course effectively a slimmed down 'ray ?
