  1. Yeah, I was told it was the key that would unlock the door to everything. I actually started a thread a while ago asking what the point of it was, and as I recall I didn't get a solid answer 😄 Appreciate it's only one aspect, though.
  2. I tried learning the circle of fifths once, as recommended by a learned friend. Gave up after a while 'cos I wasn't quite sure what the point of it was. Different strokes, and all that.
  3. I've owned the M-Pulse 600 and the Walkabout - both great heads. IME/O, they don't get 'that' tone.
  4. To regurgitate a post I made earlier: Hybrid head ≠ Tube head
  5. Which shedloads of hybrids have. Dun't make them valve heads.
  6. Not actually a valve amp 😄
  7. Do a search and you'll find some threads.
  8. ‘Tube emulated drive’ ≠ Tube head
  9. "Let's do a weak-assed version of Enter Sandman. People will LOVE it."
  10. It's for people who do quirky novelty turns on YouTube and that. Each to their own, I guess.
  11. I have no problems with TB. It’s a much bigger community, but it handles the challenges well. Still prefer BC tho. The crack is better.
  12. A tube amp for a few hundred or less..? Good luck with that 🙂
  13. Consider this Handbox WB-100.
  14. Rumour has it their new album is a complete departure from Grime.
  15. To be fair, this one ain’t solo either. It’s by ‘Paul McCartney and the Frog Chorus’.
  16. What is 'good'? The people who buy it think it's good.
  17. Ah, In the Meadow... that takes me back.
  18. Yes and Owner of a Lonely Heart might qualify, but it could be argued that it was representative of their output at the time.
  19. Lindisfarne - Fog on the Tyne (with and without Gazza).
  20. I can’t think of any off the top of my head, but I’m pretty sure he’s had a couple of other hits which are a little more well-known.
  21. I'm not sure I buy their 'not running at a profit' official line. I'm confident there's some creative accounting going on, even if it's not in the billions.
  22. Daniel Ek (Mr. Spotify) is worth $4.5 billion. The creators of the commodity he sells get paid pennies. No matter how much people blame musicians for not moving with the times, record companies for dubious past practices, etc. etc., we must never lose sight of the above.
  23. WB-100 definitely! Just drop Leszek an email and he'll give you the current prices. It's a while since I asked and I don't know how recent events have affected the UK price...
