    I'm not sure Ampeg heads have ever been at the core of his tone..? I know he used them on Counterparts, but apart from that... I have to say that IMO his tone in latter years was a fizzy mess.

    Just watching this now, and at 2:28 the guy completely misses the feel of the part, i.e. what's so Geddy about it. I'll persevere.

    Yeah, I was told it was the key that would unlock the door to everything. I actually started a thread a while ago asking what the point of it was, and as I recall I didn't get a solid answer 😄 Appreciate it's only one aspect, though.

    I tried learning the circle of fifths once, as recommended by a learned friend. Gave up after a while 'cos I wasn't quite sure what the point of it was. Different strokes, and all that.

    I've owned the M-Pulse 600 and the Walkabout - both great heads. IME/O, they don't get 'that' tone.
