It's got different features to the minilogue. I think they're fairly similar but you're right that it's not a matter of "if you could afford the minilogue buy that instead".

Any Monologue owners/users here? I have recently got the synth bug and I've started off with a few Volcas---these are fun, but given that I now need a keyboard I've started looking at getting myself a more fully featured analogue synth. The idea is mainly just to do some sequencing and recording for my own amusement. Any opinions on the Monologue? Obviously in this price range the Microbrute and the Bass Station 2 get mentioned but those don't appeal as much. That said, I'm open to hearing opinions...

For what it's worth the SFT is a bloody great pedal. In my experience it doesn't need the blend either.

[/quote] There's no way 15ms when playing a bass will be an issue. 15ms is about the shortest latency anyone can really detect. It's like moving a few meters further away from your amp. No big deal.

If they're bolt-on necks then take the neck off and put them in a suitcase. Other than that you're probably looking at either proper flight cases in the hold of an aircraft or getting them shipped over freight. Anyone I've ever known who emigrated across the Atlantic found that shipping via sea worked out as the best balance of price to volume. -

They're clearly aimed at the lawyer/dentist/executive collector's market---I doubt if many of these will ever get plugged in. Don't see the attraction myself but then I also don't see the attraction in owning 15 P-basses either and it doesn't seem to stop those people...

Some extremely disingenuous interpretations of the context that "the punters don't notice the difference" is used in. The punters don't notice if you're using a flanger instead of a chorus. They don't notice if you play a slightly different line to what's on the record. Nobody has ever claimed that the punters don't notice the difference between a good performance and a bad one. Stop making stuff up just to troll the site (again).

Maybe I'm crazy but if I was selling anything on commission at a shop there are two questions that I would insist on asking before we started: 1. If you don't sell my instruments and I take them back will I owe you anything? 2. If a buyer offers you a lower price what is the process you will use to decide whether or not to accept? Do people do commission sales without agreeing these things in advance?

Rowin Looper Pedal [b]£20 posted in the UK[/b] ***sold*** Very basic (its micro sized) but gets the job done well. Boxed with manual and has a little strip of velcro on the bottom. Has ten minutes of recording time with "unlimited" overdubs. Has undo and redo functionality. Bought new by me and only ever used in my house. I bought a Boss RC-2 recently so this is no longer needed. Woolly Mammoth Fuzz clone [b]£25 posted in the UK[/b] ***sold*** Little Bear BS1---its a woolly mammoth clone. Never gigged, again only used at home by me. No box or manual but its a very straightforward pedal. The eyes light up when you turn it on, what's not to love? Sounds really good but I've got five fuzz pedals and frankly never use any of them...
