  1. I want it all now - The Tubes Great Album...
  2. @LeftyP sweeeeeet looking hollow body that... let's have a pic of the headstock. It's got to have something going on to fit in with those off set f holes.
  3. Vol Vol Tone - VVT (tone often with a smaller knob) and sometimes wired Vol Blend Tone - VBT So Vol/Vol (or Vol/ Blend) instead of Vol and Pickup Selector...
  4. My Custom Jazz Body Bitsa... Rear Rout, Angled PJ pickups, in White (Primer...)
  5. Forward Angle... Saddles on the deck... Needs a shim in the back of the neck pocket. Truss Rod isn't the the thing to fix what you describe... Hold the E on the 1st fret and say the 12th or 17th... to act as a straight edge against the neck Should be a Business Card / Credit Card gap called the 'Relief' between bottom of string and the top of the 7th, 9th fret... take a look... this is what the truss rod adjusts. Slight Shim in the neck pocket will angle the neck back, and mean the saddles need to be raised, allowing the action to be set.
  6. Not in a band... but my Son loves the sound of his Fretless, Drive and Wah, playing more lead, melody. He feels it's fretless capabilities and difference should be explored more. He's trying the the Zoom B1 Synth stuff to come up with something... He asked me how to get a more 'Saxophone Sound' ? Feels the expressiveness can provide an overlap... Anyone?
  7. Angled Back Tele? And to make it lighter... 4 Fish Tails instead of Hefalump Ears... Got a set in black for postage£ Before ya cut n drill... (They are Right handed so wont work reverse Tele)
  8. ^Quality Good... adjustable with a hex at the bottom... not light though, although neither is the bass!
  9. Mine got a set of these... https://northwestguitars.co.uk/products/4-x-jazz-bass-compatible-tuners-machine-heads-for-left-handed-bass?variant=44714617143570 I found the scratch plate - still got the plastic film on it... pm me your address and i'll stick it in the post...
  10. Behringer BDI21 'Dark' (w/ Mid-Mod) As in, Good luck finding it in the dark!..
  11. ^ I have found a single machine head, but is different. I should have 2 that came off... which leads me to belive i am looking in the wrong place! - Sorry.. if they turn up i'll let ya know.
  12. Looks like the headstock is angled back on a scarf... For me... straight string runs... And i think the best looking headstock is the Ibanez SR... But Hey! Why not an angled back Tele Head?
  13. Machine Head(s)?... got a scratchplate as well, if yours don't clean up... Yours for £Postage
  14. I'd start with a quick look on Gumtree and Faceache... see whats local. I loves it... Ibby GSR200 £60ish... Squier P £80ish... quick haggle 'n £50 and £60... See whats out there and report back with a short list. What sort of music or look do they like... a bass that they want to pick up is better than one they don't That Maison screams Cort/Ibanez to me... PJ, Active Tones, a more compact body than a Squier P and 'prolly a sleeker neck... I'd give that a Serious Consideration...
  15. Thanks again... I've done a bit of reading... seems others have commented on the same thing... and i think it might be a 'Zoom Known Feature' and the sponge may be a half cure? Switch turns effect On/Off - easy such as Vol or Wah, But, B1Xon has Pedal Assignable Parameters, (More So than the B2XFour...) Say Phaser Rate, or Gain as mentioned previously... If i understand what others are saying, Pressing the pedal switch turns off the Effect - Pedal or Amp-Sim - Rather than turning off the Expression Pedal's action on the Assigned Parrameter, returning to a pre-setting, Rate of 4 or Gain of 5. Need some time to actually plug the thing in, Maybe Tomorrow?
  16. @MartinB And the Knobs Protrusion? (I mean the switch bit...) sticks out the same? So not like mine has been pushed further inside... (Stop the giggles)
  17. Anyone?.. Need to know mine is normal. Emailed Zoom so hoping on a response from them...
  18. ^ Real Nice... I'd TeleP-esq the Headstock, Tonerider or a Wilkinson Pup, and a set of Adagio Flats... Understated... ya can keep ya tort!
  19. Got a Zoom B1Xon... Didn't really need it as already have a B1on, but it was Fish 'n Chips money... couldn't pass it up! Couple of Pedal Q's for those that know. Pedal as Vol - On-Input, so mimics a std vol pedal, On-Output... what do you use and do you notice a difference? On/Off Switch - Button functions on a finger press, but the foam doesn't seem to want to compress with a push with the pedal - Note: I am Mechanically Sympathetic so ain't gonna be stamping or stomping... All looks std, factory looking foam to the underneath of the pedal - am i missing a bit of rubber that pushes on the button (Stop sniggering at the back...) or some sort of Button Topper? (You!.. Stand in the corner and face the wall...) Yours any different? ;-)... Looking forward to trying the Expression Pedal on Phaser Rate paramater, and on the Gain parameter between say 4-8 on the Marshall Super B. Any other words of wisdom on the pedal and it's use, doesn't look like it has the curve choice of the BXFour. Manual and Effects List don't describe much.
  20. Squier Bronco? £15! - You won't get 3 pints in London... https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/634420258821571/?ref=facebook_story_share
  21. Just in case you were half thinking of PJing... https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003985410165
