    @Baloney Balderdash So going for another... nice The Ibby site page says bound, but none of the GSR or SR Ibbys i've come across have bound fretboards... Does your old 4 or 5 have a bound board? Think it's an Ibby Error.

    He had asked about a fretless guitar after i got him a fretless bass last year as a (very) early 15th Birthday... how could i say no? Was thinking of ripping the frets out an old Encore strat... but the neck is a bit BackBowBolloxed, so set the action up high for a bit of a lap slide guitar!... But never say never...

    Saddles for the string guage, and string spacing would be the main consideration... A Guitars 42 or 46 Low E is the same gauge as a Bass G... Even a Ultra Extra Light Bass E at say 90 is unlikely to fit that well in a Guitar 6 bridge...
