Are the pickups active of just the pre? I'd try the pickups passive...

Look after ya Paws... O'Keeffs Working Hands not the cheapest, but only needs a dab... I suffer from thickening and splitting skin on my palm of my right hand - STOP sniggering at the back!

Explains why the tone changes thru the night... as ya vent a few... towards the drummer as they can't move away... better still the sax player, as they gotta breath in!

^ I picked up an MB15 for £25... a year or so latter i came a cross an MB30 with Rocksolid cover for £35. So had that and the MB15 was passed on via my eldest. Sometimes these appear for daft money. Picked up a Laney GC 30 on Faceache as a freebie as intermittent faulty. Good clean of the pots and all is well. Again great sounding lound practice amp

Hi... would very much make use... Do you know if it will run any Synth Apps for a MIDI Keyboard? Son has a MUDI Keyboard and looking for 'Sounds' Piano, Hammond, Synth, Moog etc rather than doing the full PC DAW thing.

Lots of moan on the Mk1 Barts... But remember these are a Reverse P in a soapbar housing... bound to sound different and/or underwelming when swapped for another soapbar that is a full width twin coil std humbucker... Me?.. I'd Remove the pickups and pre for a rainy day.. or sell 'em and the magic bridge... Go for a nice pair of J pups and go passive... with Artec QTP? - All Organic and Natural, but a little wider reaching. Was a pair of J Toneriders in the FS, now Sold... A pair of Entwistle ceramics?... or contact Maida Vale Pickups (I've one of his P pups in my SR300) he does a Jazz Stack, twin coil, 4 wire so you can series or parallel the individual coils in each pickup... alnico IV for string balance... got fretless all over it! I love my Passive P SR300. It's like taking of the Active Plastic Wrapping. Love the SR Worn Pebble Body and Super Sleek necks... although my latest project is a Squier P.

Same here... I think thats why i don't 'get' tort... it just looks messy to me. The difference between 1,2 and 3,4 is almost like flip flop paint. My P is Black... simple.

Mmmm... the strings felt overly thick... dunno what make they were, or what gauge. But found an unopened set of Olympia 45-100 Nickel Rounds... Sorted!

... the 4 Multi Contact jobbie - 2 for the tip, 2 for the sleeve? Just put onr in my Do-er Up-er Squier P... Great jack sockets...
