very suspicious. I can't think of any reasons (correct me if I'm wrong) why you wouldn't be happy to give out details on something you're selling unless you've got something to hide.

only 3 basses and 2 combos. I obviously haven't lived!

I think I saw one of these last night at Sumo in Leicester last night. Unfortunately didn't catch the name of the band or get to speak to the bassist/guitarist after the gig (was a bit worse for wear). Some songs he seemed to be playing bass lines on the bottom 2 strings and in other songs he played guitar solos on the top 4.

Yep similar position here. Left a band back in the summer and haven't been able to find people to work with on anything original. Got asked by a friend of a friend to start working on some soul/pop covers for a brithday party gig and have got a first jam/rehearsal tonight. Not really what I want to be playing but excited to be playing with a band again.

I'm biased but I love Schecters. The ones I've played (both 4's and 5's) have been well made with a strong modern tone. There are plenty of woody finishes available too.
