1. I use one of these Do the job, fold down nice and small.
 2. another great deal with Sean. Just bought an orange SP210 cab from him. He very kindly drove it into Birmingham for me and arranged a set up so I could try it out before I paid. Great guy, deal with confidence.
 3. oo I like the look of that!

 11.
Ashdown Electric Blue EVO II 180W in 112 and 115 sizes; MAG 300 EVO II (307W RMS) in 115, 210 and 410 sizes. Quality kit - sound good, look good, not unreasonably heavy or expensive.

The Ashdown Electric Blues and MAG's pretty much rule those pricepoints as far as i'm aware, great gigging amps for the money
+1 on that. I have used an Ashdown EB12-180 for years- small gigs, rehearsals and home practice all covered. Larger gigs just required an extension cab. I've only just upgraded to I know you've got problems with your competition but if I was looking for an amp in that price range, that's what I'd look at first.
 12. welcome
 13.
As for us being seen together with the same bass HAHA, imagine playing a bass duet with matching suits? LOL
Lovely basses. In a tenuous link I used to play in a band with 2 guitarists and they both played black telecasters with white scratchplates. They also both had those long fringes and dressed similarly... hmmm
 14.
We've just a had a very favourable review in 'The Local Review' If anyone is interested, check it out here.
congrats, lovely review.

 19.
Get a LMII (or LMIII), they're only slightly dearer & worth the extra. You can upgrade your Mag 210 at a later date if needs be.
mm I was thinking about that. Ok this is a stupid question that I should definitely know the answer to but the LMII is 300W at 8 ohm and the Mag 210 is 200W*. Is there any chance that I'll damage the spreakers? * despite what's mentioned on here the back of the cab states 200W apologies if this is a stupid question, I'm trying to become less of a plug and play musician.
 20.
Waynepunkdude must deserve an award for gigging with a band the same day it formed!
agreed. Very impressive
 21. Hiya, I'm in a very similar position. I've been using a Ashdown EB12-180 combo & Mag 210. Looking to upgrade and downsize and use one cab on a stand for live work. Looking at the LM 250 and keeping the Mag 210. Any thoughts anyone? Edit: have just realised that this thread was started in may.... damn.
 22. fingerless gloves?
 23.
Seems like a guitarist ego problem to me.Get lots of people to say "the bass isn't loud enough" after gigs.
+1 its a tried and tested technique. Especially if the people saying it are guitarists.
 24.
Kind of started a new band on Saturday, formed on Saturday morning had a gig Saturday night. 25. good gig with the covers band at Olives in Leicester. One short set played as an opener/support for a more established band. Gig went well but getting set up was a nightmare, organisation within the band was terrible so we turned up with less equipment than we needed. The last time I ever play at a gig organised by our singer. On the plus side, the on stage sound was great, I could hear everything really clearly with a lovely tight bass tone. I also got asked if I wanted to join another band, very flattering.
