  1. Wake me up, before I throw up. (She's great although)
  2. Tim Bogart tuned his 6-string w/ a third,(B to B), I tune my basses every which-way to suit my whims, also Joni tunings on my guitars. I play the Stick so that stays the same, althought I throw a capo on it from time-to-time, 'cause the the strings are muted on it 'cause there's too damn many...Play around, especially if you have more than one instrument, drop-D is always a hoot.
  3. We're a noisy bunch alright, I use headphones to keep my roomies from cutting my strings in my sleep...
  4. Playing with an amp, my first set-up was a Big Muff pi, Morley Wah, and a tape echo, in that order. Hours of fun, and chases cats well. I do love a chorus, BTW, currently using an antique Line6 PODX3 Live because I have a stereo situation (Stick). But I still have a Morley wah...Make their ears bleed, mate, it's the only way us bassists can get some recognition, and respect (fear).
  5. That's pretty good, considering the suits. I would never do that.
  6. So to explain...that's an '80 Ibanez 8-string, frets removed w/ claw hammer, top horn cut off, holes drilled w/ power drill - plugged in and recorded (tape lost), body unstable, whole side fell off, painted blue metal-flake car aerosol paint...Still sounds like a freight train.
  7. We have this show in America that tells us what talent is...
  8. Are you playing bass thru that thing?
  9. I choose purple and green. Hard to not find many uses for the stuff and@ a buck a pop (Dollar Tree - don't know what u got over there) you can't go wrong. You could always cover 'em in fabric.
  10. Open E - do you have GAS? Or did you just want to start trouble? 5 PAGES OF THIS
  11. Your 4 string will never be redundant
  12. Sounds like something I'd be singin' to w/ the top down on a summer day
  13. The four of them were lucky to have each other, it was a moment in history, that's all.
  14. I've been using pool noodles for a few years now, no reaction to anything, I cut them and slip them onto edges and can lean my instruments anywhere.
  15. Herbie Hancock's Headhunters wouldn't have jelled without Paul Jackson. Period.
