  1. I would go for a Yamaha BB234. It will be as good if not better than a Squier, cheaper and has a nice mix of vintage and modern. Spend the change on some good strings. https://www.thomann.de/gb/yamaha_bb234_vw.htm
  2. @spectoremg is moaning because he can't moan about Lewis Hamilton right now. 😂
  3. Genuine question, not in any way trying to hurt the seller. I thought the neck pick up pole pieces looked like holes but it might be dirt.
  4. Question - why are the pickup pole pieces mismatched?
  5. Great choice. The MojoMojo does the old skool 60s Motown valve thing very nicely.
  6. Would just go for the M81 myself.
  7. Great basses. I had the Inca Silver CV Jazz but only sold it due to wanting a Precision. Has said above, the neck is fantastic.
  8. Still available?! Jeez, some great basses at bargain prices right now.
  9. JB-2s are simple but effective bass guitars. A real workhorse.
  10. I don't understand why letters are taking longer to arrive - it's not like lockdown will cause more people to send them?
  11. You could actually go and try them in a shop when they are open again? It's not like anyone will be gigging again for a while...
  12. Any ideas why G&L stopped making the Fullerton JB-2?
  13. +1 500 or 800 watts through a 1x12 is not going to sound much louder. 500w through a 2x12 or 12 and 15; you'll notice the difference for sure.
  14. First and foremost, I'm a fan of Roto strings and think they make some great products. This is in no way trying to bash the company. I do wish they would get a new advertising campaign. Every day I log onto BC and see "The year is 1967 at Abbey Road studios..." That was over fifty years ago. Surely it's time someone dragged the company into the 21st century and focused on younger players who use Rotos today?
  15. What on earth are you all talking about?! The playing in that video is fantastic. I thought it was really mooving.
  16. I have a tour booked for next week, actually. We're giving Covid the middle finger and bringing rock n' roll to the people again. We start off the tour in the living room before dates at the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and to finish, the garden shed.
