1.
I've had at least 8 of these, great basses, the neck is Maple and the top wood is American Walnut
I was wondering what colours you had I'm sure I saw a salmon pink one in the early 90's and a yellow one(whitc I want) Most of the ones that come up for sale are the colour here,or wine coloured like mine or the green one which is nice.
2. I'd also say 5 string, altho' I believe there is a schecter model ,and a Warwick model that allows you to have both the tunings that you're after on a four string . (correct me if I'm wrong)
3. Not sure if it's a standard 9v one or not. If so,any music shop or Maplins should do it
4. My frienfd Chris ,at chguitars has loads of bits and bobs that he sells .
5. Haven't heard of that one. Some people use beeswax, and the list goes on. Me? I use pledge furniture wipes.
6. What bass were you thinking of respraying? Hopefully not the Attitude
7.
how much for, and more detailed pics of the 8-string please?
I'd say about £130.00 o. n. o. Don't really wanna post tho'. Will get more pics on over the weekend. Cheers
8. You could get a Telecaster bass instead Aguilar make great cabs with no tweeters. Their heads are good too
9. bump, looks like the amp's going. Make offers on basses if you want
10.
May now be interested in the amp now as I've had some money come into my hands, how much are you looking for (2nd dibs of course), would collect as it's fairly portable isn't it? TK
Pm d
11.
How did you know I always think that? I've got a box full of them, but then I rarely throw anything away. I'm sure I've read somewhere about an initiative to standardise low-voltage dc connectors so we could have a single 'universal' 'power brick', but I've seen no real sign of them. USB connectors are increasingly used for power but really the whole area is a right old mess. Still, it keeps the PSU manufacturers in business.
You sound like me . Too many wires in my life at the moment, I 've heard about those multi connectoer thingy's, but don't know if they're any good. Cheers
12. You use 'em for mobile phones, shavers, gardening tools , and of course effects pedals. I have loads, which take up way too much space. Do I keep'em or bin most of 'em? You always think 'but I may need them incase '' What do you think ? .."
