1. Was thinking of getting one for my iPad. 2. Questions: are the eBay copies as good as ? Some USB keyboards work, does it work with m audio radium 49? If I have to get a smaller keyboard(akai mpk?)will that work on Mac mini and iPad2? Has anyone got one for sale? Cheers
2. Mmmmm, I'm thinking whether to trade my steinberger xm2 ? Nice bass bump,)
3. I couldn't log into basschat all day until now
4. Aaa argh!my eyes !
5. Because we're in arguably the biggest recession/depression in living memory, you could just buy a framed print of the current fender,) Seriously, you have a good idea getting a bass in this period.
6. Mines made in the same place as shine(and is the same quality).
7.
Non! Rien de rien! Non, je ne ne defrette rien!
I think you're saying do not defret? ,)
8. Can't give a straight answe here. Dansette was great , very bassy ,) Early Tangerine Dream albums had great artwork, but the pops and clicks were annoying. Sabbath albums sounded good. Sabotage was thinner than Kate moss. Judas Priest albums were more warped than anders brevik. When metal albums got pressed onto CDs initially , the quality was worse than crap.(castle records anyone??) Eventually , remasters such as sticky fingers/goats head soup sounded great , with the orignal inner sleeves like the vinyl. Used to love overkill on green vinyl, and bomber on blue, not forgetting levitation,) These days , my lifestyle has changed and will buy CDs I like, put them into my iTunes, and play them on my iPhone . Listen to vinyl rarely , because of this. Don't buy mp3s tho'. Nearly forgot, the needle used to stick/jump. Don't miss that.
9. Thank Sam,) I love predictive text(not) Bass is active, loud(think byrds/lemmy) I'll have to answer other questions later as I'm at work,) Fretless? Not sure about that. Bear in mind , thhe feel of an 8 string is weird and odd to start with.)
10. Actually , I think this is a good thread. If the op headlined the topic'x factor, or'britains got no talent', I wouldn't have looked at it. Now , when I was very very young, on radio 1 You could hear Neil diamond, mungo jerry, black sabbath, carpenters and slade played consecutive ly. I used to know all chart stuff up until 1977. Then disco really took off so I lost interest. Punk was linter eating tho. New faces was the programme then, and I hated tony hatch.( I'd probably think he was ok now), My solution is to avoid watching all 'hype'tv. I have my own mind, and refused to be brainwashed. Picky? No! Selective?yes! ,)
11. Thank you ... That's me ,)
12.
I think someone was selling a CH Guitars 6 string at a great price a couple of weeks ago on here: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/186579-6-string-bass-fs-ft-by-ch-guitars/page__p__1865166__hl__ch__fromsearch__1#entry1865166
13. Cool! Enjoy your day,)
14. I remember the '80s . Keyboards were supposed to be taking the place of bass. Didn't happen. A lot more 5/6string around now tho ' . Bass will always be around.imho
15. Nice thread . Makes me wanna join a band again. ( well ... Not yet...(.
16. Get a styleophone , and plug into effects unit.
17.
He's left handed - Indeed a South Paw. Has he met Oscar ? Garry
18. Ez drummer, is that expensive ? Wouldn't mind having 'proper' sounding drums , fills rolls etc.
19. So much good advice here. May be a good time to get a headless bass , or a short scale one . Have the height of the bass the same standing up as sitting down. Relax. A lot of tension is held in the shoulders .
20. Cool! Make loads of noise,)
