1.
**** me, my names on there Right after Edward Van Halen. I didn't know that! lol
Why does your lead singer always have that pose going on, head to one side looking down? Only messin'. I love your bass tone on Paralell Worlds, who produced that? It's good to see Basschatters doing well, nice one.
2. DR Hi Beams, buy them from the States though, "mymusicstuff" ebay shop, cheap as chips.
3. I use DR Hi Beams and Lo Riders, I find the Hi Beams to be very supple and the Lo Riders are good for hittin' hard. They last for ever. A person of your calibre should have no problem following the wiring diagram. DR Hi Beams but get them from the States, Mymusicstuff, I think, ebay shop.
4. No probs, it's alright where it is then, don't want to cause any hassle. Steve.
5. Hi Ped can you move this to "show us your rig", please? Derrrr.
6. I think I'm in a good place as regards finding a set up that can deliver the sound I have in my head and be portable and good quality. I would like to thank the Basschatters who sold me the kit, it was a pleasure doing business and thanks for being brave enough to buy the gear in the first place and then sell it on at such great prices. This is what the forum is about, getting good advice, good deals and meeting some sound people. So, the cab sounds beautiful with the Avalon, very rich and warm, deep and clear and it has a brutal slap tone(good grief ). It ain't the most flexible set up, no fx loop and no eq or compression but I will use the eq of my basses to alter any tones I need. The cab has a preset eq and limiting curve, so I'll try that(just remembered that one ) and if I want any fx, I'll put my GT6B in front of the Avalon. All in all, a very happy bunny. The wife has just shouted in "for now!"
7. An IP112 would need another cab to get the full juice, as it's an 8 ohm cab, so needs another 8 ohms to get the 1000w. Steve.

9. Why sir, what a pretty little philly you have.
10. This is all working out very nicely.
11.
Just a lone SVT810E. It's enough! I was contemplating getting a 610HLF as a change from the 8x10, but after having no joy I did a gig on an SVT2 into an 8x10 and decided to just go full-bore rockstar Ampeg setup - hence the Ampeg head desire.
It doesn't get any better than SVT=8X10", but you do need a bloody big van and rodies. King Tuts' Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow, if ever you have played there you will know that a full SVT rig is the last thing you want to be owning.
12. I'm missing mine already. Bassjam is after one of these, great price and a killer rig you have there my son. What cabs do you punish with that beast?
13. Sorry Chris, Gremlinandy has just bought it.
14. Beautiful work my friend. You took your time joining Basschat! Steve.
15. That's a brilliant idea, drilling the rack-ears like that.
16. Hi Dan what do you think would be the best cabs to match the amp, for a compact set up?
17. Bump. You could buy this on ebay in America for £500 but without the case and without the shipping. Go and audition at Thomas'. Brill kit.
18.
Man, GAS. Bit overkill for what I'm going to need though. Good luck with the sale What cab are you running this into out of interest?
Get it Chris, get it Chris, voices in your head. Will sound f***ing amazing with the SVP.
19.
Thanks sweetie, although it was more of a Hockney vibe I was going for ;-)
Where's the naked boy getting out of the pool?
20.
Funny thing is - white plate looks like it was made that way, tort looks like a former sunburst that's been stripped....or is that my fevered imagination? I'd go for the stripper every time, of course. BB
Strippers. I remember back in the 80's, when I was first working, as an admin' assistant , my colleagues and I used to frequent a certain hostilary in Birkenhead, where the strippers used to knock out audience members if there was any hanky panky. Happy days.
21. What was the threaf avout? Just tried typing with my eyes closed. Not bad. Need to get out more.
