This sounds like a very astute move and I can see it having a positive effect on making Basschat a more friendly environment for it's existing members and for any potenial members alike. I'm suprised to learn that there has been a "10 warnings" system, very generous, making this 5, may make one or two members think twice about about their posts. Steve.

That's the first time I've ever seen scariasis of the bass. Have you checked the neck pocket, to see if there are traces of other colours? Has the bass been in a really humid environment?

Hi ya mate, I had mine serviced last year, as it was coughing and splutering. It sounds like you may have a few little problems, or such like. Mine had one bad valve, resistor damage, numerous dry joints and it had to have the transformer reterminated, basically, it had over heated in the past, all taking 3 1/2 hours to do. (Just looking at the receipt now). I took it to Dave Lunt in Stockport, it cost me £100. Anyway, it has worked beautifully since and is completely silent. Get in touch if you need 'out else. Steve.

Rick Wakeman gave my missus the eye for most of the evening at a Yes gig a few years ago, we were right at the front. I thought this was so cool at first, then when he carried on into the second set, I wanted to deck him. I'll listen out also.

Have you tried the back plate that holds the speakon and jack sockets and the tweeter control? Maybe a little loose.
