1. The deep mellow tones of plywood, you can't beat them, probably best to set it on fire and be done with it.

6.
Friday bump. Watch out for Orange AD200B and Bergantino NV610 for sale very soon.
Mr P, please don't do this to me.
7. It would be a pleasure, plastic bags at the ready.
8. Bloody southerners, get all the best shizzle.
9. I think their basses are beautiful. Looking at their site last night, showed me how much care, attention to detail and above all, skill in building, something which I would pay a premium for, goes into each instrument. I may have to have a little think about getting one, one day, but finding a lefty in the U.K. to try would be some task. I suppose I could always try a righty and fill in the dots, so as to get a feel. I'm going to look on their site again.
10. Hi there Cheeky Pup, Red Setter here, that is incredible, what a colour. Superb.
11.
Cheers Doc ! Your collection is always the # 1 Take a look at this. It's the s/n 12 ( 1972 ). It's the oldest Alembic known. The company knows where the s/n 1 is but the've been asked to keep it private.
I think I know too, does it belongs to a very famous six stringer, who was a prog pioneer?, or I could be talking out of my a-hole.
12. Me like a lot. Wanna do a swap for somink?
13.
You're all incorrect! I will be very interested to see if anyone else knows what really happened on that recording!
Tell us.

15. Agreed.
16. THAT, is sexy, wow!
17. I think what these two guys have done is very savy and they are also very talented. They have promoted their album very cleverly with the bass player angle in BGM and from what I can gleen, they have done the same with other outlets of potential publicity. It's not my kind of music but it is very good and the musicianship is excellent. I logged onto the site not knowing what to expect and was suprised at the Dave Gilmore-esque vocals and great guitar playing. http://www.swansinflight.com/
18. Hi there. I don't know about the price but it is a thing of beauty.
19. I think anybody who gets a warning should have a "Silly Sausage" icon embedded into their user name/avatar. Maybe Sugden could do a proprioritary render of said "Silly Sausage". I have one ready but I think I would get a warning if I posted it.
20. That's one hell of a piece of gear. Light as a helium molecule, loud as a motherflipper.

What a rare treat, to see something as beautiful as a KB bass. Best of luck.
22. Best build thread ever, something I don't have to think about too much and, doesn't leave me with gas.
23.
This range of Bass Custom (BC) H&K cabs (15s 10s 12s whatever) are IMHO the best cabs that H&K have ever produced. Not so sure that many buyers would appreciate that and pay £200 for an old 2x15!
We know, 'cause we is old and wise.
24. I remember when we bought our first colour telly, about 1974, after a couple of years it started to go on the blink and every time this happened, my Dad would slap it and it came back on. This went on for a good few years and I naturally assumed, as a young boy, that if something didn't work properly, then a good old slap would sort it out. This has served me well throughout life. How much did you pay? Three years is a good innings for one of these, maybe time to retire it if the repair is going to be costly.
