    I’ve got a set of labella with blue silks but I can’t remember which ones they are , as 760FL have red silks

    You got me looking at all my string silks now 😄 The LTFs have no silk at the ball end

    I have to admit, i really don’t like the green silk on fender flats, I use labella LTFs which have a sort of maroon colour

    I’ve had flats since 1980 and I don’t recall any having no silks 🙂 He really doesn’t like them does he 😁

    I’ve never seen the prodigy live , but I used to see keith flint and the other members regularly in a music shop in Romford called Boogie Times, they had a studio nearby, and firestarter is my favourite tune by them . Could it be Keane ?

    I’ve found it good for transcribing this morning, once I got the volume of the bass and YouTube balanced , you can hear every note clearly to play over the top of , I also plugged my old Tascam BT1 into it which also runs on battery , so I can play over CD’s 🙂

    I’ve got a bass room and a summerhouse to play in , but for silent practice it’s well worth it

    well I’ve been playing with mine for a while now just sitting on the sofa, and what a great thing, I’ve got it wired into my Dre beats with my iPad on YouTube playing all sorts, it’s got a great funk sound and also playing reggae with the thumb gives a nice tone , @krispn thanks for the heads up ☝️

    I’m not sure what the tv series was like, it was a long time ago, I don’t think it was any good, but I like Matumbi , the theme tune was probably the best bit 😄

    A few tunes here from Matumbi, you probably remember them from the tv series Empire Road, they did the theme music , I like the bass on this one, it’s simple but fitting
