All of the copies and the Ric with the whammy are my fits.
RIC also have a new v2 bridge out on the 4003 which has 3D-inspired saddles; these are now standard on the 4003.
I've also got one or two faker projects with variations...
The Rickenberger.
A Hipshot bridge.
The brass look.
How many strings?
The Red Baron, which has an MM-style bridge.
I've got a couple of Rics with Schaller bridges.
And one with something different.
But I have to say that overall I prefer the stock bridge/tailpiece unit.
There are some instruments where the description has to include the only player in the world who liked them: Jaco for a Jazz fretless, Peter Hook for a Hondo Ric Copy, Rutherford for a Shergold, etc.
I've got 3 faker projects on the go:
This one is going to just be a fairly generic Ric-a-like.
This one's going to be brass everywhere.
And this one's got an extra string.
I've got a mains powered handheld Dremel and I've never thought I made a mistake buying it.
The only issue I have is in finding bits for it.
I'm about to do some routing for a bridge, but I'm not sure the Dremel is going to be appropriate for that.
