1. Also, a touch of Wishbass about it. One of the higher spec ones, obviously
2. Comprehensive and informative, as always! Thanks Douglas. MBA
3. I haven't followed this competition for long, does anyone know what is the greatest number of entries in a month?
4. Also very usable for guitar. I've gigged mine on bass into 2 cabs. Nice power stage drive without deafening everyone within a 50 yard radius. I'm finding it a very useful piece of kit.
5. I don't know why Fender persist with those ridiculous big tuners. Many small ones do the job just as well, weigh less and simply look better proportioned.
6. Found it! It's a BilT guitar, Zaftig model with about all the options you could load. http://www.biltguita...the-zaftig.html I can sleep properly now
7. The head looks massively out of proportion on this dinky bass, like a bad Photoshop job.
8. I'm just wondering if anything on the other side of the preamp could be touching any of the potentiometer? Might be upsetting some part of the eq gain.
9. Stairmaster! Would the target market for that be the older player? Gotta love auto-correct!
10.
While we're at it, any ideas on Lennon's guitar? Looks like a modified Jazzmaster with a starcaster neck or something...
Hmm, no takers on this question, maybe it's one for Guitarchat!
11. Yes, the drummer often is the knob. Surprised Discreet hasn't popped up to point this out!
12. You could ping back "what's your highest price?"
13. They seem to be enjoying themselves. The playing is quite tasteful, some of the camera shots, less so. I often wonder if he ever found a band with like minded individuals...
14.
muse, totally lost track of what they're up to now
They tried to be Queen for a while.
15. "Talking about music is like dancing about architecture". So we might just as well shut up and get on with playing.
16. Isotope. I used to play the faster tracks to psyche myself up for taking my gcse ( o-levels, as was) exams.
17. While we're at it, any ideas on Lennon's guitar? Looks like a modified Jazzmaster with a starcaster neck or something...
18. Thanks for that, super quick. I did wonder if it was some brand new boutique thing with a retro vibe. Almost as cool as its owner...
19. Does anyone know what the bass played by his partner in GOASST is. Can't make out the name on the body, could be Framus? http://ks.c.yimg.jp/res/chie-que-14152/14/152/524/344/i320
20. I don't think the button next to my tune is working edit: seems like it is working. My mum must be online then.
21.
Thought I would join in this month. I took the same approach as 'xgxjs' (above). Calm and dreamy night in Brooklyn. https://soundcloud.com/garrycribb/brooklyn-heights
That's really rather lovely! This is going to be a close competition this month.
22. Ok. I will edit my post.
23. Are people interested in actual instruments used or just the tech/ plug-ins and that stuff?
24. "Yes, some of them are quite pretty" She did set an arbitrary limit of 7 instruments, one for each day of the week, and I'm at 8, so not altogether happy. 5 are guitars, 3 basses, even though I haven't played guitar in a band for 14 years!
25. xgsjx - reminds me a bit of Pat Metheny. I think you succeeded in capturing the vibe.
