1. Wow, this is truly special.
2. Well I guess the only thing you can do is try it and see. It could well be that they've reduced the price to shift them...but if it is some sort of pricing mistake then I don't know if I'd want to give them a heads up before clicking the buy button. If you go for it, the worst that can happen is they tell you the price is wrong and refund you your money. Whatever happens you have Amazon providing some buyer protection.
3. Doesn't have MIDI sync or any real modulation routing options but my TC Electronic Trinity T2 is pretty damn weird/unusual. Might be worth checking out?
4. seems the price is significantly higher on their eBay store - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172373634066 Coincidentally, I ordered a couple of EBS patch cables from these guys a few days ago and am awaiting delivery so I'll let you know if/when they arrive as described!
5. The more I look at that new matte black 700 series, the more I think Yamaha have missed a trick not finishing it in the same trans-black finish as the headstock. That would look gorgeous. I'd potentially want neck-through construction too to keep that subtle wood contrast. But seriously, the finish on that headstock looks so much better than the "trans-black" finish on the TRBX500 series...
6. Delicious!
7. A most handsome stack. This will be gone in no time...
8. In my opinion these blow SM58s out of the water! I've got one and can't see myself ever selling it. Have a bump on me
9.
Literally paid 4 quid for it the other day, gutted
Mere months later and it now costs £17.99! I would have happily paid 4 or 5 quid but it now looks like I won't be getting this any time soon. Especially since I'd only be using it once in a blue moon and more for fun than anything serious.
10. They are both calling my name! The P shall take priority for me though I reckon.
11.
If it were my dosh I'd get a Yamaha BB1024 or 1025 depending how many strings you want. I'm a bit in love with Yamaha BBs at the moment.
This x2! Although if you don't want to stray too far from the classic Fender shapes I'd steer you in the direction of a Sandberg TM4 - they have an MM pickup in the bridge position for a bit of a change to your typical jazz sound. Can't fault German build quality either. You should be able to get a nice one for under a grand.
12. Was checking these out on Thomann a week or so ago and hovered dangerously over the "Add To Cart" button for a second. They look very good.
13. I've been feeling the pangs of Sandberg GAS lately. This is lovely - if only I had the space and/or cash. GLWTS!
14. I've got the full sized Flashback and don't think I'd ever sell it. By all accounts the mini is great too. And they have the ingenious tap tempo workaround which I love.
15.
Wow:) . This might be best lookin' Fodera ever made.
I firmly agree. Someone is going to be very happy.
16. I think I'll be following in your footsteps at some point Noir, and at the moment the Bass Station 2 is top of my list with an Ultranova in a close second place. My toss-up at the moment is mono vs. poly, which is a bigger deal for me as I won't have another synth to take poly duties...
17. If this had a Split coil pickup I'd probably be biting your arm off for this.
18.
Just been drooling over this on FB and now it appears on here. Stop following me!
Join the club!
19. There's a lovely looking Ibanez BTB1605 for sale on a Facebook that I'm a member of. Selling for less than your budget too!
20.
Precision Simple, great in a mix, has a distinctive slap tone, and if you're not convinced it can 'do fusion' or 'diddly diddly' stuff, just check out Michael League But as you quite rightly suggest, pretty much any bass will do, it's what is comfortable and sound good in your hands that matters. Si
I was about to chime in with "Yamaha BB" myself, but Sibob makes an excellent point here.
21. Wow! I imagine that put quite a dent in the old wallet?
22. This is identical to mine. Bump for a monster bass!
23. I was never a fan of this bass in its stock black coat. Looks great stripped back and natural IMO.
24. Cool setup you've got there. What size pleasureboard is that? I guess the vibrations don't freak the dog out?!
