  1. As the title suggests, does anyone out there fancy trading their Dunlop Mini volume pedal for my full size version? I'm looking to build a mini pedalboard to take on the road with me and the full size version will never fit on it! Pictures to follow.
  2. I've got a Yamaha BB1025x and an Ibanez BTB33. Both incredibly well built instruments. The Ibanez has a high C instead of a low B but it sounds and feels great to play. The Yamaha is just a beast in every way, and the B string sounds great.
  3. Fully agree with Mark. This is my go to live microphone. Even the case is excellent!
  4. Ooh yes, bass porn for sure. And I'm not even a Jazz guy usually!
  5. Lovely bass. I was GASing hard for one until I got my hand one a four string version in Wunjo and realised a fretless instrument far exceeds my current skill level
  6. Are these the standard Nanos or Nano Plus?
  7. I bought this pedal new last year when it was recommended by a guy in a guitar shop. Tried it out with the only bass they had on the wall and...15 minutes later walked out of the shop with a considerably lighter wallet! It's essentially an RC booster with 2 gain stages instead of the standard 1. It was actually the inspiration for the new RC Booster V2. These came either chrome or copper and apparently only 150 of these were made in each colour so they really are limited edition. I got the copper as it's just sexier IMO and a rare colour to see in a pedal. I tend to set the volume at unity and gain 1 at zero so I can just engage it as just an EQ, then dial in a gain boost on gain 2 (the little black dial) to kick in whenever I see fit. As is customary with the RC range this thing is transparent and very musical. This is a (very) reluctant sale but as I'm not in a band at the moment this beast isn't getting the love it deserves. Immaculate condition as you can see. £160 posted. Not looking for trades particularly but try me. A DOD Meatbox reissue may tickle my fancy...
  8. Some great responses here guys, thanks. I think a Bright Onion custom job might be the most convenient way of getting what I'm looking for. I don't know how much additional modding I want to do to my bass!
  9. I am selling my Roland FA06 - basically like new. It comes with the manuals and original box. It has no real signs of wear since it's only had light bedroom use and never been gigged. It's ideal for anyone into sampling, music production, sequencing or as a powerhouse top board for gigging. It has 2000+ sounds - including a large selection of the Integra 7 sounds. This would cost about £900 new so grab yourself a bargain and save yourself some money. I'm only selling it as my digital piano does everything I need for now and I need the cash for other things! Collection in London would be great but I'm more than willing to post to Mainland UK.
  10. Actually, Markbass also do a very small pedal which is just the single VPF filter in a box but I don't think they do a standalone VLE filter do they?
  11. Imagine if someone chopped the tone knob out of your passive bass and stuck it in a pedal enclosure - does such a thing exist? Surely such a thing could be done? I ask because the previous owner of my BTB33 upgraded with preamp with an Aguilar OBP3 and an active/passive switch but when in passive the only controls that work are volume and pickup pan. No fancy "treble knob operates as passive tone" magic that I've heard folk speak of on basses. So a pedal like I've described above would be quite cool to have. Thoughts? I'm not looking for a wah pedal...

I'm almost certain you won't be able to update the firmware via an iPad. Gotta plug into a PC or Mac.
  13. I think this is the nicest P bass I've ever seen.
  14. I have no idea why EBS didn't release this along with the other two Reidmars in the first place. Although I suppose the 500 watt Class D market is pretty flooded as it is so maybe it wasn't a particular priority for them.
  15. That ashdown rig looks lovely. I don't think I've seen one of them before. Certainly looks like a good option on paper given that the head and cab are included in the price but I guess you'll want to check out reviews. Also, are 15 inch speakers your thing?
  16. Ampeg Portaflex PF-50T and keep one of your cabs? Has a dummy load feature so can be used standalone for recording. They're around £700 new from memory but no idea how often they come up on the used market.
