  1. I have eaten at our local PEs a few times this year. Always use 2 for 1 on mains: we have 2 kids that eat adult meals and a toddler that nibbles so we can’t afford to eat full price. Better local pizza than Domino’s (although they are nice) and Papa Johns is a chain I will not frequent due to their owner’s vile morals.
  2. Yes - listen to a lot of pop thesedays and once you get past the auto tune and naming themselves and all the other artists in the song and all the random sound effects and the lyrics that needed a team of 12 writers are just rubbish pap that most of their 12yr old audience could outdo in break time.
  3. I can not remember who it is; but one member here uses the EHX tri-mixer thingamy and absolutely loves it. Someone help my old brain out. Doesn't the new Boss SY-1 come with an arpeggiator too?
  4. Peach? Is that neo-nu-alt brown?
  5. I was ignored for a promotion this month; i’d have been annoyed had they gone straight to external and not at least interviewed internally first.
  6. Awesome time it sounds like, and great review. I rate Jeff very highly.
  7. Only for residents of that state i think.(when buying online)
  8. I have a random stack of pedals but i’d def recommend good Octaver, dirt, delay/reverb and synth pedals.
  9. Welcome, resident of the Frozen North! Nice kit - do you have a stack of pedals too?
  10. Argh - I have a hernia just looking at it!
  11. Just sit atop a bar stool jazz-style and effect an insouciant pose
  12. Cullingworth - practically next door: have a bump!

    ACG RetroB 5

Lovely - although it looks like some kid has already drawn with sharpie round the corner above the bridge... tsk ;0 Moar pics - you're disrespecting the ACG by showing it atop a plain white table.
  14. I concur. Is that actually more than any Darkglass pedal? (the current bar of 'How much?!')
  15. Anyone else get the email today? Is this basically half the Nemesis and half the Ventris to save users who don’t want both about £300?!
  16. Ok. Its very cool. At least i won’t be able to afford it!
  17. Ok ok. ‘ do the controls need to be that small?!’
  18. Does it need to be quite so large?! Looks like a lot of painted space with nowt on it. Although, looking at the blurb, I am very pleased they mentioned 'clank' as what happens when you press the Bite switch. I'm going to be a resident of Yorkshire now and say: 'How much?'
  19. All i know is that roasting the maple adds a huge wodge to the price!
  20. The Audio of Being; Matthew Good Band. Really into Canadian alt-rock at the moment.
  21. At least with the pedal you could whack a sticker on and colour it blue without it looking obviously awful.
  22. There's no Angry emoticon. It's very annoying.
  23. Ah - the 'you're not a big concern' - forgetting that that makes a) 8 voters (excluding family members of voting age) and b) if every MP has 20 business with 7 employees and 1 boss that goes under, that's 100k they'll need to magick off the unemployment figures... , plus loss of rates to the local council, etc. etc. They really are so shortsighted.
  24. Oof. My sympathies? best wishes? year's free supply of ant-stress pills? /notbeingsarcastic I know that some larger firms can afford trade specialists (such as they are, who's an expert in the unknown?!) but you're basically on your own, because the gov't don't know, and neither do your supplier. It's crackers. Are you just going on as normal and pretending nothing's happening until it does? (to avoid meltdown) Above: that £30k limit obvs is only expected to work one-way and there will be howls of outrage when it turns out that no you can't work part-time in a salon in Torremolinos to keep you busy in your semi-retirement.
