  1. Wow, I never knew LTD made such good looking instruments. It’s like an upmarket aerodyne, is it light like one?
  2. The Guild was the underlying sound of the Byrds, fab!
  3. That little body makes the neck look long. Super cool bass, the mud bucker is the sound on the 60s British invasion.
  4. I hope you didn’t have to pay the 600 and odd dollars they suggest on the website as a recommended selling price. You could have a real Spector for that price.
  5. Weren’t the Fender editions actually Chinese made? Presumably Squier couldn’t make them any cheaper in Indonesia.
  6. You sound like you need a Warwick Star bass or otherwise a good holiday to get over gas!
  7. I believe they’ve made these in 2 scale lengths, which is this?
  8. If it has no electronics and the sound hole is on the top bout, how is an audience supposed to hear it?
  9. Blimey, what’s it made of, balsa? That’s lighter than the chambered P types and many semis.
  10. There’s a black one on Reverb for £362, but it’s in SriLanka so the postage is high plus presumably import taxes.
  11. Maybe their next model will the Hutt or a Rotta! 😜🎸
  12. Great looking bass, terrible model name! 🥴
  13. Plus 1 for the Spectorcore and it comes in 5 string version. However if you want more conventional shape at a reasonable price Ibanez AGB or the Dean. Then there’s the Hagstrom or the Epiphone Jack Cassidy or Rumblecat and finally the Gibson Midtown - long scale version of the EB2, currently 2 on eBay under £700! If you can find one the BaCH was very good, shouldn’t have sold mine.
  14. Very smart. Ibanez meets Fender in shape. Good find.
  15. What’s it look like without that weird scratchplate?
  16. Now that’s a really nice colour! Almost makes we want to play 4 strings again but I need 5 for the Ebs. 😇
  17. Agree about the headstock, but I think the 2+2 they make is awful as well
  18. £800 and what! They must be joking, it’s hideous, truly a REVOLTA
  19. And I’ll bet it was cheaper than the new “Ultra” series Precision!
  20. I think you’ll find they’re not long scale but 32”.
  21. It’s a Taylor and should have a brilliant action, even if it is only a GS mini. My 2 are phenomenal and having been to the factory in El Cajon I know how fussy their QC man is. Take it back, or take it to an authorised Taylor repair shop.
  22. Don’t put stickers on if you ever think you might want to sell it. Guitars discolour over time and if there are stickers the area under remains the same. I bought a Squier on which the white scratch plate was turning a lovely shade of pale green, but when I peeled the stickers off there were horrible white squares staring back at me. Have tried lots of ways of toning the plate down but none very successful. The stickers had well and truly devalued it!
