  1. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a black cowpoke before, nice. GLWTS
  2. Is it all worth it? I don’t find the NS tripod that bad, but I would still like an end pin.
  3. 8lb for a Jazz! Why can’t I ever find one that light?
  4. Glad all over- Dave Clark 5
  5. Goodbye yellow brick road- Elton John

  8. I’ll fly away - Alison Krauss & Gillian Welch
  9. Some suggested questions for you to answer for yourself: The Stingray has how much sentimental value? If you get a gig which bass would you take - one of the Jazzes? would you miss having the Precision? Do you need the money, if so how much? Put the basses in value order. Dont worry about the kids they probably won’t want anything which old dad had. Maybe reduce the number 1 at a time and see how much you miss any one of them. Tough decisions, good luck with making a choice.
  10. You’re my world - Cilla Black
  11. Vinyl is a waste of space, but I do miss decent cover notes.
  12. Now children don’t squabble about the colour, it’s very nice what ever it is.
  13. They are very cleverly engineered and the leak pattern is quite. Make a good coffee table, but won’t make it play any better. Nice grain is plenty good enough IMHO.
  14. It will all depend on the string spacing which looks to be fairly narrow. There’s a couple of Bronco bridges on eBay at present which the simple 2 string per bridge bar arrangement which may be flexible enough to accommodate narrower spacing, but the do have a fairly wide base plate.
  15. This is the long scale version which was designed by Mike Tobias. I believe the current version is short scale and has slash ‘f’ hole ( if you can call it that). Very nice, would love it, but like others wrong Time.
  16. Never understood how a bass with a smaller than average body could weigh so much.
  17. I’ve got LaBella Deep Talking Flats on mine. Great choice especially as they don’t have silks on the ball end to foul up the bridge.
  18. Disco Queen - Hot Chocolate
  19. Devil woman - Sir Cliff
  20. I have the Peerless Bassmaster Player which is the JC by another name. Peerless used to make the JC for Epiphone it I think the quality of this version surpasses the Epi. Yes it is surprisingly versatile for a single pickup Bass. Probably due to the variable impedance output. The only downside I’ve found to date is the neck finish which is too glossy. Haven’t got round to rubbing down yet to a nice satin, but I will. I have previously owned a ‘66 Gibson EB2D, a Bach EB2 clone and a Hofner Violin. This knocks spots off all of them.
  21. Wild thing The Troggs
  22. I just don’t like Foderas 👎
  23. Next time stick to U.K. sales only.
