  1. Whilst I’m happy with a lined neck, it does seem a bit bizarre, it must be cheaper to make an unlined neck, less cutting.
  2. Never seen those before, very nice. The sunburst appears to be unlined and the black lined, was that the way they always come or were either neck available on both colours?
  3. My JC s actually a Peerless, but same thing. La Bella Deep Talking Flats. It has to be something without silks at the ball end because of the 3 point bridge.
  4. Did just have a sneaky peak on that Auction site, there a rather a lot at BIN in the price range mentioned. As there are quite a few, may be they’re not selling.
  5. Good idea, but you can’t sit down when the guitar is on the stand.
  6. A colourful rug on stage seems popular at present, but one needs to keep standards up, so remain standing or get a quality bar stool (a la Dean Martin). There is always a risk that you might fall off!
  7. Meet on the ledge - Fairport Convention
  8. 700 (do you mean £s) for a Westone seems somewhat excessive!
  9. This is a surprise! Didn’t think you’d be selling this so quickly, you waxed so lyrical about it.
  10. Is this the same as the one Scot has reviewed recently and plans on giving away? He raved about it which takes some ad a died in the wool P player.
  11. This Spector Rebop my original Fenton Weill, which is probably now with a fortune, and my Gibson EB2 which is definitely worth a mint.
  12. Polk salad Annie - Elvis
  13. Thanks #Henrythe8, they are very underrated, I just don’t think most bassists haven’t heard of them or tried them. I don’t think they were widely available in the U.K. I imported this one from Italy.
  14. Nice colour. Is it a gloss or satin finish?
  15. Nice colour, looks in great condition for its age.
  16. Amazing, lighter than my semi!
  17. More generic Fender? This looks like a P to me, with a minor mod or 2. Thank heavens Charvel dropped the pointy headstock.
  18. That is BLACK!
  19. There’s a hole in my bucket - Harry Belafonte
  20. Whiter shade of pail - Procul Harem
  21. No doubt £33, 10% extra for lefties! As a left hander myself, I learned right handed to save the 10% - now that’s being a cheapskate! 🤣
  22. Stop, in the name of love - Supremes
  23. I don’t think the 500/1 was the cheapest model at the time, that would be the Senator. Single pickup, single cut away. Having said that he had his Rick stripped back to natural when I’m sure he could have bought another and plays a right handed Casino turned upside down. Perhaps we can call him frugal with his purchases. According to a Selmer catalogue the 500/1 was 58gns and the Senator 38gns.
