Is the deadline Thursday 24th of March or Tuesday 22nd of March?

My late 80s early 90s experience. Make sure the venue has a security, well nowadays it's probably a licensing requirement. When you play at small festivals/events don't volunteer, if there's an option to play first. Don't wear spandex trousers. Don't transport your entire kit on a public transport , including the drum kit. Don't trust front house sound engineer.

This, 110% it's your song, your feelings, emotions and personal touch. And the bonus is, when/if you play it live no one can criticise " oh ,that's not how the intro or chorus is played in the original".

Which 5 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2022 Inductees?

This ...Iron Maiden, they influenced bands/ artists.. e.g. Metallica, Lady Gaga...I voted for RATM and Judas Priest -
I only watched episode 4 , tbh the "performance" is worse than a pub mediocre band. But, this programme has been written/produced for general public viewers, not musicians and definately not for bass players.

I've no idea as long as it has a variety of seafood in it. But Škoda is finally pronounced correctly in commercials, as Š is pronounced as sh.

This thread reminds me every time someone talks about Paella ( pronouncing it British way). I usually respond: never heard of it, others: you never had paella, me: no idea what that is......and when they explain the dish , me without being difficult ( although finding it amusing) , I say , or you mean Paella ( Spanish pronunciation)

Is Kim Jong-un a lefty? Looks like he plays Dimebag Darrell guitar.. -
Depends what music you play, imagine calories you burn

Steve Harris gets through a few sets of strings during a tour. They sound great when they're new, but tend to go dead soon. Also ,pricey..

If I ever had a conservatory, not that I ever would want one, I would find it pointless for music related playing, "production". Sound treatment would be a nightmare. I can only see having a gym in a conservatory, but first I'd have to start gyming which is highly unlikely.

If I sell an item, not on BC, I make it clear: " collection only" . But, I still get messages, can you deliver? , when I reply no sorry, they often come back with a sob story. But must say that BC are top blokes/girls, most go extra mile when selling or giving away for free.

Can't hear or has she got selective listening? You need to ask yourself if you still enjoy it and is it worth it?

Here is my contribution- Monkey in the Jungle (or is it?) I played intro and outro drums on my kit Main guitars played on tele through Amplitube 4 and Bias FX Guitar harmony solo in left channel played on Fender Strat with Floyd Rose Fender P bass straight into interface, three tracks, added compression, Eq and distortion Vocals are two tracks, track one has chorus and track two has distortion added Main drums (minus the intro and outro) are EZ drums played on a keyboard. Various keys and percussions added for colour The whole mess was tidied up with T racks and Ableton mix/master tools Lyrics : I`m a monkey in the jungle feeling great Panda , turtle and parrots are my friends Climbing trees and picking fights are dares When I`m bored I eat drink f*** and rest Living in the jungle is my fate Breading is my primary quest It`s something I`ve been at my best It`s a never-ending circle and my praise I`m a leader of the pack that keeps me sane Everyone that knows me think I`m vain Most of you think I`m a bit too lame It`s not for real it`s just a game

So... The fuse arrived, installed the new fuse recording the board with phone so I can trace the potential spark ...Well. The amp works and is loud as flip. The fan is quiet now after I cleaned it. Thanks all who advised. @Dad3353. lesson learnt.." don't meddle with things you don't understand" ..

I already checked , Mouser out of stock Darnell , with delivery the price is nearly 3x higher. Ebay

Two faults I may or likely have done are. 1. After cleaning the fan , I didn't assemble the heatsink and fan using the screws that keep them isolated from the chassis, hence the spark... 2. The speaker wasn't connect to amp, it should have had a load no lower than 8 ohms. Still waiting for fuses to re test, now everything connected as it should so fingers cross.

If anyone reads this thread, where are the places to get spare electronic parts, capacitors, PCB etc. E bay takes a long time...thanks

Thanks, I've been pretty much watching You Tube videos this afternoon on replacing TDA93V or the whole power module. They're suggesting the same as you. The only thing I can't see is any discoloration of the soldering joint suggesting that the IC has had it. I try the fuse first, then the whole power module. The only confusion is that the spark was from underneath the yellow capacitor 100 nj63. I ordered 20 fuses so I have a "play" tomorrow. I had the amp less than a week 😁
