It's a shame.......that's all. [/quote] Not really my experience. Youtube has helped me crack a few tunes in the past, where notation didn't exist and my ear fell short. The lightbulb moment where you realise how something was played is the important bit, less important is how you get there. Agree ear training is vital (and IMO, so is reading music), but tab / videos can all help.

Try this; Go to the Audio track, select 'Audio From' drop down Click Configure This will take you to the Preferences screen Audio Input device - assuming you've got the driver loaded (or sometimes it will just recognise it anyway) - you should be able to select your Focusrite on this drop down > Red X top left to save and close, takes you back to the audio channel, and select Channel 1 from the drop down. Hit the 'record' button at base of that channel, and you should be able to hear whatever you've plugged in, your bass etc. (These shots are from Live8 but almost identical).

If you only judged the music scene by what surfaced to radio or TV - Beatles etc aside - was mainly bilge. There's still great music going on today that won't make the radio or TV. Don't hang a generation on Miley Cyrus!

So it seems US had a headstart on ordering, but they can't actually get them - with the first lot arriving to EU customers. That unboxing does look great. I think that's made up my mind.

Whatever music + fashion scene may be happening, I'm pretty sure by the time it made it onto my radar, the kids will be getting bored of the next thing. There's a stack of underground music happening all the time, and fashion runs in parallell. It's just a long long way from discussions about music stands and Bill Bruford.
