1. Would you please share the nut width ? 38mm Jazz or 42mm Precision ? Thanks ! H
2. @ rhythmbug has a p bass for you. :-)
3. Wow. Can you really confirm the 3.8kg ? Curlees are on the heavy side, and if the body is Koa, it's not light either... Cheers,
4. Interested in the nut width, too. 44mm would be a charm.
5. Would you share the nut width, please ? Thanks !
6. Hey Patrick, can you enlighten me and give me the Nut Width ? Is it a 44mm like the NT or 38 like the other SN/BO ? Thanks,
7. Hi, could you give the width at nut and approx string spacing at bridge, please (big fingaz... ) Thanks.
8. No, you're not imagining things. There is no "fingerboard" per se, the neck is the fingerboard. The trussrod has been installed via the skunkline in the back of the neck. This is a hell of a bass, neck plays like a dream, 44mm nut but very slim, very low action recommended. *Buzzardian was faster*
9. Yup, can't stop looking at it. I'm still missing a SN/TCS in my pod of Dolphins. (And also missing a pod of ££ in my wallet, but hey, have a bump on me ! )
10. Being one of the happy few that owns one of those, I express my utter love for this bass. The neck is a dream, sound is pure tight bliss, comfortable as your sofa. I, sadly, care about my balls so I won't try to snatch this one up, as the arrival of a fifth Dolphin will probably put my Beloved wife into Lorena Bobbit mode. Here's a quick recording I made with mine (slight difference as mine has a NOLL preamp). https://www.youtube....h?v=KBGR19sKGjw
11. Got me gassing for a LimeLight. Too bad I can't play a narrow J-neck.
12. Bought a Spector TonePump, it arrived very quickly and safely packed. International transaction with the exotic and distant France :-) Thanks !
13. Damn, all out of cash when my favourite colour combination shows up. In my country. For an affordable price. Is it with a regular Precision Nut Width - 44mm ?
14. Do you know by any chance if the pickups that were wired to it were passive or active ?
15. I know I'm just a broadneck fan. :-) For the people out there that are hesitating, the Buzzard is a really comfortable bass, whether you wear it high (like John Entwistle) or very low (Like James LoMenzo), with great balance. And for the DieHard Fans that prefer dual-P's instead of Dual J's, with minimal routing you can get in there a set of EMG's 40X-P5, and that'll do the trick.
16. I already have a Buzzard BO4, I thought the BO5 would have a wider neck... 45mm is alas too narrow for a 5er and my big paws. Thanks for the info, though.
17. Would you care to give the nut width ? Thanks, H
