  1. I already have a Buzzard BO4, I thought the BO5 would have a wider neck... 45mm is alas too narrow for a 5er and my big paws. Thanks for the info, though.
  2. Would you care to give the nut width ? Thanks, H
  3. Frets were gnawed off by Critters ? :-) I'm thinking epoxy varnish on this fretboard to be safe.
  4. What's the nut width and string spacing at the bridge on this babe :-) ?
  5. Have a bump on me, just installed an EMG BTS on mine. It just went from TO A great bass you can mod because you wouldn't do it to an Alembic.
  6. Can't seem to find the info, what is the nut width on this baby ? How "fat" is it ? Warwick Fat Neck Fat ?
  7. Holy Sh*t, BatBass ! Quite the rarity, with a full carbon neck...
  8. Have a bump on me for some pen1s raising material. :-)
  9. Second Push-Pull should be parrallel/series. That is a thing of beauty.
  10. For those who are wondering what this bass really worth, they were labelled as 'The Poor Man's alembic" back in the days; Innovative and sturdy design. Hand made in the US, DiMarzio PAF precision P'up, a bit closer to the bridge giving a tightened, snappy P-Sound. My advice : buy this bass, and add a DiMazio Model One with a switch in the neck position. If you want some more things, add a Tonestyler from Stellartone.

  14. Well, a lot less expensive, here's my DIY Thomann kit, a bit upgraded :-) It has a Fender '59 Custom Shop P'up, the Anodized Gold Pickguard and a vintage brass String thru Epiphone bridge. Sounds great : https://youtu.be/UYlOYo5i4bE
