Harley Benton JB-62CC BK for sale only. Bought this recently but need to slim down the flock so as I usually do after buying a Jazz type bass, this is now for sale only. This is in exc condition, just a small nick on the end of the headstock. I have replaced the bridge and tuners which cost £60 and are an improvement on the original parts. The neck is caramelized Canadian hard rock maple and the body is poplar, DAddario EXL165 .045 - .105 strings and the rest is usual Jazz bass. The bass weighs 4.4 kg or 9.7 lb`s which is usual for HB Jazz basses and lighter than the ones with the maple necks which are usually around 5 kg. The bass sounds great and not just for the price. Collection or local meet up.

Bought this in the great G4M blow out at the back end of last year. I have used it in the studio a couple of times but for gigging I have an Ashdown so this isn`t going to be used. Really good condition, plenty of info and love on here for these. Looking for £170 posted UK mainland only or if you can collect/ meet up local to Paisley, I will knock off the postage. Ta

There`s a BB 714 BS in Bass bros for £549. Just sayin...

Yeah, it would do the job fine. I stick a Sans Amp into it and the built in Firphase system takes care of everything else, there is only a line/mic setting, a boost/flat option and a volume control. To be honest it`s only problem is it`s a bit ugly imo. I prefer the looks of the Yamaha DR but that`s just me being picky. I bought the RCF as they get a decent write up and are a cheaper alternative to the QSC`s.

I use an RCF 715 mark 4. I have used it for monitoring on a large stage and use it in small pub gigs as my main bass amp. On these pub gigs, it keeps up with 2 Marshalls and a loud drummer. Great bit of quality kit.

Sharing equipment? This is how some use their amps

I used Pirate studio in Glasgow once. Never again. It`s just a place to go with your mate`s, get stoned out of yer brain and crank up some tunes. Or maybe that`s just Glasgow! -

Sold Chris a pedal. No probs at all and would happily recommend. Thanks Gerry

I wonder if the seller knew what it was and was just chancing his luck in GG as they usually ask how much they want for it. Or was he ripped off himself and sold it not knowing it was a fake? I`m still surprised that they were taken in with such an obvious fake as someone who had the job of checking the instrument over must have checked things out. I imagine they have the sellers details as they usually pay the money into your account.

It looked like one of those HB models with the twin humbuckers. Most of us on here would have clocked it right away as it had one of those bridges that are fitted to the Sub models, then the tuners, 4 bolt neck... In fact it was the double of one of these Ali Exp jobs https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004141576856.html?pdp_npi=2%40dis!GBP!£215.31!£204.03!!!!!%400b0a23a516782901676964577e4d46!12000028169331973!btf&_t=pvid:dae3a7c3-d676-4a54-a5f0-756e666c19df&afTraceInfo=1005004141576856__pc__pcBridgePPC__xxxxxx__1678290167&spm=a2g0o.ppclist.product.mainProduct

I bought this from one of the great members of the forum for a friend. He is a old Trace guy but was looking for something light as the TE was getting too heavy. He tried it out but now that he is going to be giving up playing live soon, he is gonna keep the TE and I am now left holding the baby so to speak. And the last thing I need is another bass cab! It`s in good condition, just a few chips on the front edge, nothing serious and the strap is a bit worn but works fine. It has a 12 inch woofer for the lows and a 6.5 inch mid range speaker for the highs with some fancy crossover. It will run happily at 450 watts cab at 8 ohms but weighs just 16kg. Here is a copy of the BF spec sheet. It was the predecessor of the Big Baby 2. https://barefacedbass.com/product-range/big-baby.htm I`m looking to sell for £300 or will swap for a 4 string bass, not really sure what I`m looking for, maybe a Yamaha BB . Collection/meet up only please as I`m not too keen on shipping cabs.

Budget Sans Amp copy but with a metal casing. Decent pre amp and di pedal, as new condition, velcro on the bottom, 9v power only no battery option, I don`t have the original box but it will be well packed. £25 posted UK mainland or if you can collect, I will of course knock off the postage. Paypal f&f or bank transfer please. Quite a few vids on YT.

I couldn`t tell as it was possibly the worst demo of a bass I have seen/heard. But I`m not familiar with their music so maybe that`s the reason. Still bloomin expensive for a MIM instrument.

If you are kind enough to leave me some feedback, please leave it in my other thread as I seem to have 2 going. Thanks

Paolo bought a bass from me, a pleasure to deal with. Thanks Gerry
