Balance and desk mix. next to import into DAW for cleanup and tweaks, de-gulping and de-easing, then off to mastering engineer. Some typos in the art and tweaks needed there too but i’m about to press. On white and red splatter vinyl 7” single.
No computer was used in the recording.

Is it not against the rules to post an item for sale on here asking for the buyer to send money through Paypal Friends & Family? If not, it should be!! I see at least 1 scammer get called out on Facebook per week and it's ALWAYS because the buyer sent payment through F&F.

@Rikki_Sixx - it's likely to be news in the next few days.... but who knows
It has been like a permanent headache - they get outside people in to assess you, external accountants to write reports on how your dept is financially un-viable,
then don't let you see these reports. Then promise you an outcome by June. Then they say the outcomes have to go to committee, then to an approval board, then to finance...
Then they give you a deadline day.... then fail to meet it. Sigh.....
Of course, this is a tactic, designed to gypsy's kiss you off - so you leave for another job. Not me, after just shy of 32 years service!

Yes @Rumple - I don't really WANT to be made redundant actually. However, it is the best option for me - given the hobson's choice that awaits me in the coming 12 months or so, which will be worse, in some ways. It's an odd thing - neither outcome is in my best interests.... it's a choice of the lesser of two evils
But as you say, it may be a welcome change, and offer some other opening..... we will see. Cheers for your thoughts

Twenty years TODAY since my last ever cigarette. A real milestone. The 90s always saw me onstage with a cigarette, smoking in the studio or in rehearsal. 100% willpower and positive mental attitude.

No Bass day.
Got everything now. Stopped looking at basses and gear. OK - need a tuner having retired the TC with built-in (for an Aguilar, so no pain). Don't even need strings - totally happy with string choice and even have a new set of the rounds to replace when they go off. And a Hercules stand for the Jazz. That's about it.
How's it feel? Great, really good. Not like I'm skimping with 3 fine basses, 2 or 3 rigs including the newly acquired GB combo. No excuses, just play. Get better, Attack the stuff I'm wary of, confront the weaknesses. There is nothing on Earth so fine as a great bass through a great rig on a good day. -
Got a Squier Bullet from '87 to restore. A good clean, new strings, setup... Can't wait to start on it.

Selling gear is cleansing.
Buying stuff gives me a bit of a kick, but I sometimes get to a point where I wonder why I got that particular thing. Just shifting an electro acoustic (no idea why I got that at all), a small guitar amp (same) and a random bass I don't use or need. Out with the old, less is more, quality up, volume down... and all that.
Let's see how long this lasts then -
Still looking for a Yamaha BBNE2 and/or Yamaha 1025. Let me know what you got!
