6. I have never been a huge Fender fanboy (but recently I'm really liking them) but I really do see the appeal of modding them easy to get parts and lots of fun to play with but if I had a grand or so to spend on a bass to be honest I would not really be wanting to change anything as the parts should be of a high quality any way on a bass that costs that much but if it was a MIM that I got cheap I could justify modding it but that is just my opinion but it really is up to the individual how much there bass costs and what they want to spend on it.
 7. A SD Quater pounder and a new distortion pedal of some sort
Forgive me if I'm being slow witted (though I am both blonde and a bass player, so make the necessary allowances), but I don't quite catch your drift re the Frankenstein thing....? 9. Hi Guys do any of you know a UK seller that sells block inlay decals? I have tried ebay but the are mostly USA sellers? And are these block inlay decals any good? as I wasn't sure whether they would rub of and look really shabby with playing. Thanks in advance

 11. Fraser just purchased a pedal from me it was a very easy deal and I found Fraser to be nice and easy going and polite, and he let me know the pedal had arrived with him safely which is something I always appreciate. 10/10
 12. I have used cheap tuner pedals and they are OK at best really the only one I had that was any good was a Joyo JT-55 but I bought a used Boss TU-2 from here a while ago and now I think it is the most valuble pedal I now own I did not used to like Boss tuners but now I am a real convert and I think it tracks quickly and is mega accurate I think it is better to buy a decent used pedal like the Boss or another great Tuner is the Korg pitch black both can be picked up for about £40 used on here

 14.
Maybe. But It's nice if a young beginner can try a guitar first and buy it from a decent local music shop and get some aftercare. That might not be possible in the OPs location.
Good point I didn't think of that
