Thunderbird

Yep there are fake Fenders up on a certain auction site most of the time many have been reported here on the E@@y weird and wonderful thread. The bass you bought as others say really looks nothing like a Marcus Miller but you could of done OK for £120 if it looks and plays how you want it to but the only way to really help not to get stung is to do your homework and ask about the basses on places like this or even look in local guitar shops and compare.

Could you have a dodgy new string? its more common than people think.

I sold my bass to Dave and all went very well he paid when he said he would and let me know the Bass had got to him safely so all good here

Pretty much the same as everyone else has said, not really sure what it is all about it seems to be just a load of pictures and a video that was really annoying and off putting sorry about being so negative but it is not a website that I would really be bothered to look for again. I think if you are selling a service the websites not going to get you much custom.as everyone who seems to of viewed it so far is a bit lost.

I do not think it is a Thunderbird pro if you look it only has 3 control knobs and a Thunderbird pro has 4 if I am not mistaken. I thought he now used smaller connectors? I think there is a thread about it on here but I could be wrong

They may or may not be your cup of tea, but there is no denying their quality and, seeing as how well their resale prices hold up and how quickly they're snapped up when flipped, their value. I have played several but I don't own one, not because I think they aren't worth it, but because I don't play out nearly enough anymore to justify such an expense even at dealer's cost. Although, you never can tell. I just might sell off most of my collection someday and use that to get a custom Monarch made to my specs and cross that off my bucket list. Fair play what a great experience

On most basses I have played the tone knob seems not to do much at all. I have always wondered why also

[/quote] I agree and I know that no one bass can do everything but lets be honest I think it is mostly about knowing your own ability's and finding a bass thats comfortable and that suits your musical style way I see it is no matter how much I practice and no matter what gear I have I am never going to be Billy Sheehan or Flea or any other master bass player I am just going to be "me" and have my sound and just be as good as I can be
