1.
I'm very sorry - both these colour schemes are illegal under EU law.
How about black with the BC logo in HUGE F off tort colours just for you ya know ya like it lol .....but seriously could we maybe have a poll to choose a colour scheme if the hats do become available?
 2. I had some Elixers on an Ibanez I had many moons ago seem to remember they were good they were a bit sticky for want of a better word even after cleaning they still felt sticky but in truth I got the bass used so had no idea how long they had already been on there or if they had been abused slightly off topic I was given some Ashdown Engineering strings a few years back they came in a tin a seem to recall I liked them but have never seen any for sale any one know if they were promo give a ways or something? sorry for the slight thread hijack
 3. I have a horrible feeling that when you spray it the "spray" paint will react with the emulsion and melt it I think it has some thing to do with emulsion being water based I cant remember off the top of my head, You can pick up cheap cans of auto primer in places like Poundland etc myself I would rather use the proper primer etc as a good paint job is all in the prep, your sanded emulsion may look great now but when you start putting the colour on you will see every slight brush stroke dimple and imperfection its just not worth skimping I cant stress enough that it is all in the preperation. This primer is grey OK for dark colours but just to show it can be bought cheap http://www.poundland.co.uk/grey-primer-spray-paint-300ml
 4. I wouldn't mind a woolly hat either Black with an orange BC logo?
 5. I Think Annoyingtwit was looking for one of these may be worth sending him a PM
 6.
How did he manage to play wearing that jewel-encrusted glove?
He had loose trousers lol
 7.
Years ago, there weren't any bass effects in the early days of sabbath. For example , nib was probably a Wah and fuzz box. Could be wrong tho'
That is kind of along the lines I was thinking of Ray I think I am going to have to experiment with this one might try some tube overdrive and tinker with my gain settings I'm a gonna nail this mother lol
 8. I did have some for sale but I have a few left me you PM me your details I will send you some picks in varying gauges that I have left for free and if you want to you could make a donation to Basschat
 9. I am a huge Geezer fan and for some reason I am only just decided to learn Iron man now does anyone know what effect he uses on this I have Googled and found he used this Tychobrae wah pedal so is an old school item from what I have found on Google but I am sure there is some kind of O/D or fuzz used instead of a wah any ideas guys? cheers in advance
 10.
I genuinely laughed out loud reading this one! 1988 fender precision lyte bass guitar - gorgeous. Warwickshire
Bet I laughed louder than you
 11. Have a bump for a bass that should of sold by now mate
 12. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Traben-John-Moyer-Signature-Havoc-4-String-Bass-Blem-2nd-/360659513019
 13.
Ellefsons' lines would sound great on this. In fact James Lomenzo tried to use his Buzzard in Megadeth but he was stopped by Mr Mustaine due to its bizarre looks lol. He had Warwick knock up a couple of these instead. These have a Megadeth heritage ;-) Don't forget the price is negotiable...within reason.
I didnt know that your like a walking rock books of facts lol GLWTS
 14.
I have never sent such a message, and don't plan to. However, there are auctions where the price is significantly out of whack. E.g. second hand items being sold for more than the new price. Items listed for double what they normally go for, or more. I just roll my eyes and move on, but I can imagine some potential buyers being frustrated that an item they would be prepared to pay a fair price for is 'available', but at an unrealistic price.
Yep +1
 15. Now this just should still not be here I would of had it if I had £1750 and you could guarantee me that I would be as good as Dave Ellefson lol GLWTS mate
 16. Why not just buy a cheap Chinese copy and "Ric" it out like a lot of other people do would sure be cheaper and easier?
 17.
I have a Spector for sale if you'd like another positive buying experience...
I would love to but I gotta sell my stuff so there will be no-incoming gear for me in the foreseeable future
 18.
It's certainly not a regular occurrence but we do get a few chancers. We mediate as best we can and have a surprisingly good success rate.
+1 there is a few Tossers on here I dealt with one and a big plus one to the mods for sorting it out but I can hand on heart say it wont put me off buying and selling here because most people on here are great to deal with
 19.
I've bought and sold on auction sites like ebay since the late 1990s. One thing that always amazes me is that when selling something occasionally someone will email me telling me that what i'm selling is too cheap or too expensive (usually the latter). It usually goes along the lines of 'i've seen the xxxx that you have for sale and i can tell that it is too expensive. I have seen these before for £xxxx but was too late to bid for it. I doubt if you will get what you want for it but if you want to sell it to me for £xxxx then please contact me'. Now don't get me wrong because i do find them amusing but why what sore of people are they that can afford to waste their time and do this?
Yep that really F--_s me off I am afraid it is a sign of the times ya know "the world owes me a living I want everything for nothing" I really hate these kind of people we all like to have a bit of a haggle but these kind of people I just cannot stand rant over lol
 20.
Interested to know what the etc are.
Only other free ones I can think of are Preloved or Free-cycle maybe they are the etc?
 21.
Tried to put up a post to sell my mint custom shop artist series USA Fender Strat but got a message saying it now costs £7. Appreciate website owners need to cover costs but thats a bit extreme when I can post on gumtree etc for nothing.
7 bangers may seem steep to you but it certainly is cheaper than ebay etc and the way I look at it myself is I would rather pay 7 quid here and help keep the site running than advertise for free and lose it
 22.
http://www.thomann.d...ntage_serie.htm one of these is a better bet and comes with alnico Wikinson pickups as standard which are around £55 to buy on there own.
+1 some of that Harley Benton stuff is great and it does not break the bank.
 23. I am still plodding along with peace sells but if I get fed up with it I play a bit of a medley of Iron Man, Jailbreak, Back in Black a bit of queen and generally mess about lol for as long as I can
