    Love the thought and design that go into barefaced cabs, but just can't live with 9mm plywood, i have not heard of many failures though!.....just me i suppose!

    For sale is my tc electronic rs 112, only selling as i tend to use a single 15. cab is in mint condition with no missing finish or paint chips....sound wise, cab is very capable with a refined top end and suprising controlled bottom end. Happy to post as i still have original box !....cheapest on net are pmt at £379 each. shipping should come in at around £20 .

    No doubt Jerry Barnes is a great bass player, but i have to agree, he over played to the detriment of the band.....a little less = a whole lot more. A great set non the less!

    I borrowed a WTX 500 and i found it well under powered, hitting the stops all to early on the pre gain!....go ashdown

    I am thinking of replacing the batteries in my peavey millennium bass with lithium batteries....will i get any benefit over the standard alkaline jobbies.....do you think it is worth it..... the bass does seem to have quite an appetite !!

    What a bargain!!....i think the uber cab is fitted with eminence deltalite drivers...should sound mega!

    I would go for the vanderkley, mainly because i like the larger cabinet giving the speakers room to move, and like you, i like front ported cabs

    Had one in white, had to change the horrible scratch plate, but a great bass, if a little heavy

    If Barefaced use 9mm plywood for their cabinets i think 15mm would be good!

    cheers for that, it seems to me, the mnt, with a suitable amp would achieve more volume than the ext given the higher quality driver.

    As the title suggests, i'm just wondering if the 12 inch driver fitted to the 112 mnt is the faital pro 12fh 520 i know reading the review in bass guitar magazine the ext is fitted with the 12 pr 300(pics)....If this is the case, the 12fh 520 has great specs!! What would i gain over the lesser 112 ext?
