  1. Fabulous distortion pedal. Boxed, as new. Really tasty Grundy distortion which ads a real bite and cuts through the mix unlike many others which get lost. Screw for battery compartment a tiny bit rough (it was super tight) but otherwise mint, never taken out of the house! Price includes UK delivery
  2. A fantastic compressor with built in power plug. One of my faves - extremely transparent and flexible with great build quality. Very low noise. Has foam on the bottom, slightly marked. Pedal is in excellent condition and is boxed. Price includes UK delivery
  3. This pedal was built by a member here. It works via battery (but can be adapted to take a supply, I had the chap who made it convert it for battery) It sounds great but is a little bit temperamental, I think because the circuits aren’t secured in the enclosure. Probably easy to tidy up and use. Priced accordingly. Price includes UK delivery
  4. Great pedal, so easy to use. Excellent condition with box, manual and USB cable. Price includes UK delivery
  5. Up for grabs is this lovely sounding compressor. Amazing quality and very tweak-able. I did a review of it here recently as I was looking for the ultimate comp which has a battery power option. Price includes UK delivery. No box. Cheers ped
  6. Easy if you have an envelope filter
  7. There comes a time when a musician gets so good that they go over the edge and start playing with odd instruments. Like when Dave Weckl started using bongos. I think this is a good example of pushing the envelope too far. It’s not for me!
  8. Congrats it’s a nice place to be, to know that you’ve found a suitable bass after trying loads out. What strings are you using in your Musicperson?
  9. Tbh I think ‘The One’ happens over time and naturally despite what you think it will be based on specs and price. The One is the bass you know inside out, have used live and in the studio, you’ve learned it so well that you can hear it in your head and know how it’ll sound every time.
  10. I bought one of these recently after seeing some excellent demos online. It arrived today but the envelope side of the pedal makes a scratchy fuzzy racket. It’s a shame because the pedal sounds great on the demos. I also note that the dry bass sound doesn’t come through when using the envelope so maybe something has come loose inside. Ive requested a refund (bought via Reverb) so we’ll see what happens.. Here’s the demo anyway: Real shame it’s broken - doubt it would be easy to repair?!
  11. I don’t talk to mine
  12. It’s all foreign muck as far as I’m concerned 🤭 😂
  13. Sorry it's hard to see in first pic, yes I need centre positive
  14. Thanks, I'll measure the connector etc. In the meantime I've emailed Backbeat to see if they can recommend a suitable UK one.
  15. No it was used and probably from the US. I don’t mind using an adapter as it fits in the case with the US plug better but if I’m going to leave it plugged in at home somewhere out of the way then the superior UK plug gets a thumbs up. No biggie if it’s going to be complicated which it sounds like it will be!
  16. Hi John yes it works fine but looking for a uk equivalent
  17. Hi folks Ive got this adapter for charging my Backbeat. I have to use an adapter for a UK plug. Is there a UK equivalent that won’t explode in my face? Cant see anything that matches exactly on eBay. 14v 1.2A

  19. As soon as I can get down to accessorise I’m getting that and some glitter
  20. Cables installed with some cable tidy to keep it neat. Works great!

I think you bought it in 2007? Great you’re still enjoying it. The switch mod sounds great; does it select the front or rear coil?
  22. It's always difficult to find something to do with the kids
  23. No dealers in Greece?

@BassBunny has my old BB75 which was a superb bass in all respects. It had to be sent away for fixing because I think the truss rod broke (I can't actually remember) and so Marleaux fit a new neck and did a refinish - now it's a very unusual one-off bass! It was extremely nice to play, balanced perfectly and had a very flexible array of sounds. I only sold it because I kept buying and then selling five strings, feeling more at home on a 4.
  25. I don't think Hiscox do rectangular bass cases though?
