Bluetooth won’t be possible for that application due to inherent delay. The Nux device shown earlier however allows Bluetooth streaming so you can play music into the device and play along with it. So that’s one less cable.

Great looking bass. I always run my 2eq with everything centred to be honest. I’ve found that strings make a huge difference on a stingray so you can have a lot of fun experimenting. Somehow I feel they sound best with ‘dead’ rounds or cobalt flats (I presume they developed those to match the stingray)

Even before Brexit I decided to make them available for UK shipping only, because the carrier I use who takes them in bulk doesn’t do international.

Yeah I’ll get you some in the next drop Dad. Trouble is I’m not doing a drop yet because I’ve got to use a different post service because the (local) UPS depot is closed. I think they can pick up but it’ll mean having a window to buy them rather than having them available 24/7. I might get into it tomorrow and get a batch ready to go. Watch this space!

I just got one of these to replace a Hercules Mini that I lost, then found minutes after loving the order. It’s a great little stand - folds down so small that it fits in a gig bag easy (unlike the Hercules) and feels really stable when deployed. Works best with symmetrical body shapes. The bass doesn’t lean back as much as it does in the Hercules either which is better because the bass takes up less space that way. Maybe a touch less stable as a result though but not by much. I also like that the ‘feet’ that hold the bass don’t stick too far forwards like lots of similar stands designed to take the width of an acoustic guitar too. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a tiny lightweight stand to put in a gig bag pocket! Not my pic

I love straps. I’ve even made a special area to hang them all. Here’s one of my faves though which I had made by a guy on Etsy. It’s a fixed length without the bulky adjustment parts and it holds my backbeat pack nicely - the leather is quite thick and quite ‘hard’ which strangely feels super comfortable as it kind of moulds around you and feels great.

A Stingray can be hard to tame with rounds, but with flats you'd be hard pressed to find a smoother more velvety sound! One option with the L2000 is the 'K-Mod' which enables you to split the pickup coils, giving a decent J and MM sound (outer two, inner two). Although I've never tried it.

They might - that's up to them. Someone else will if they don't. I'm fairly upbeat about it all and although we're in the middle of the 'just torn off the band-aid' phase, I firmly believe in the long run it's a good thing. No change is easy.

Great basses too - although I haven't been keeping up with them and I'm not sure if they have a budget range now and what they're like.
