    Really nice playing 2009 SG bass in faded/worn black. Versatile rock bass which only weighs around 7.5 pounds. Amazing condition (only sign of use I can see is a small indentation on side of fretboard, pictured). Basically looks like it sat in its hard case unused for all of its life while small rodents chewed at the outside of the case (which still functions perfectly). Without the glossy nitro finish of the SG Standard bass the neck is much easier and slicker to play, in my view. I am cutting my bass collection down as my band's one and only festival gig in diary has been cancelled and there is nothing planned for the foreseeable. Hence no trades. £825 including UK post, or £800 collected from SW13 London.

    Another resuscitation of this thread. Just sold my AVRI Jazz to D!ck (had to use ! as BC autocorrected, sigh. Met him at nearby train station and had a good chat. He has been mainly playing with Ray Davies for last deacde or so but, as that has wound down, he is now playing in friend's band, the Cripple Creek Band, playing classic Americana/rock like CSNY etc. Super friendly guy with a lot of stories to tell!

    Sounded OK, if a bit middy (clearly by design) for my tastes. But with only a volume and no gain control, how do you drive this if you want valve saturation?

    Yep, very versatile. I didn't get chance to gig it but had it set up at home for Fat Tube, Fliptop and overdriven SVT settings. However, I also recently acquired a Bass Fly Rig V2 which has one less tone setting (and cannot run on a battery) but also throws in a compressor, tuner, envelope filter and chorus ... which I think will make life easier for me. Take advantage of my gear tartery and save £100+ on new!

    Virtually as new condition, bar some residual sticky stuff underneath from double sided velcro. Perfect working order with box, manual etc. These are £250 plus new and its in great, ungigged nick. £150 posted seems more than fair

    OK, I will send the bass to mainland Europe. Delivery cost: UPS charge just over £50 economy while DPD charge about half that (but I don't think they are as reliable as UPS). Total cost: I would want £999 net of all bank charges for the bass, plus delivery at cost (agreed with the buyer as above). Approx. £1,050 net assuming UPS is the courier. Also, I realise Brexit means the buyer would be charged import/duty on the declared value but I am afraid I will not bend the rules to save the buyer money. What I get paid is what I will declare on the customs forms.
