Lovely bass Nick and TBH I prefer the skinnier neck profile on these Japanese reissues to the chunkier 70s style neck on the JMJ. GLWYS!

Hi Gunnar, as its a 2009 bass these should be regular Am Std pickups as my good friend Wikipedia says "In March 2012, Fender updated the American Standard Jazz Bass (except the five-string version) with Custom Shop 1960s Jazz Bass pickups. "

Fabulous basses. My MW has an Aguilar P pickup but I bet this sounds even bigger with the Tbird pickup. GLWYS!

Bump. Forgot to add that it comes with a standard, not great Fender gigbag (I have always used my thickly padded Serek gigbag for rehearsals and gigs)

Recently bought on the forum, sounds absolutely great but my recent gigs have all benefited from the DI out functionality (which this lacks) of my BassRig Super Vintage. Minty condition. Price includes UK postage.

2009 3TS American Standard Jazz in vgc for age, just some surface dimples here and there, no nasty dings. Wearing nearly new TI flats and with slick,low action. Nice sub-9 pound weight (8.8 pounds on my digital luggage scales). Comes with tweed Fender gigbag but will be well wrapped/boxed if post needed. £995 * now £900 * plus delivery at cost. You know the drill. Very user friendly short-scale bass, much discussed on BassChat. Wearing La Bella Mustang flats. Bought new around the start of August when I joined a goth/post punk band. Has done a bunch of rehearsals and 3 gigs. Already reliced although for full disclosure I think I chipped a small piece of lacquer of the edge of the fretboard (see pic). Why sell? I prefer my Serek bass (skinnier neck, hand made quality) and the goth band will simply have to put up with an orange bass, haha! £950 posted within the UK seems fair given its pretty new and has the spendy La Bella strings upgrade.
