The only bass I 'won't' take to a gig anymore is my '62 P Bass as I have owned it since '75 and would hate it if it went walkies - not so much the value but more that I'm so attached to it. But it is still my go to bass for recording. I have a stack of expensive basses and take these out to gigs without thinking - after all, nothing like a bit of natural relic'ing

Don't dismiss 12" cabs. I use a pair of Bergantino 1x12's and they are great as well as portable - huge sound

The TC RH450 is a really good amp per se and worth trying even if you think you have a number of things covered in your pedal board. And, as others have said, even less to carry if you go this route.

The treble/bass boosts will not operate but the bass still plays through an amp OK - just sounds a little dull

I tried the 115P and 210P cabs with my TA501 head and was very disappointed - the piezo tweeter sounded really 'spitty'. I sent them back immediately. I have heard the horn loaded cabs are a lot better but not tried them. But to be honest, my Bergantino HT112ER/EX112ER combination is far superior (IMHO) and cost around the same.
