On Friday, I had a half hour to kill and went into my local music store to look around and buy a cable and a set of strings. I ended up leaving with a brand new Rickenbacker 4003! The wife wasn't impressed!

I have 2 P's (a 2008 American Standard and a 1974) and 3 Jazz Basses (a Squier VM fretless, a 1973 and a American Deluxe 5er). I love them all and play them all frequently.

Hi there, Finally got around to joining Basschat! Looks like a great place to spend time. I have been playing bass on and off (off for 5 years when I got married and had kids) for 25 years. I finally have the time to play out a lot and am currently in 4 different bands. I play metal, blues, country, funk, etc. I gig a few times a month and love it.
