1.
Hey mate, i'm interested in the head if you're willing to split them?
At this moment in time I'm trying to sell them together. I don't want to get stuck with the cab on it's own. If anyone just wants the cab shout up!!
2. Well I'm a guitarist and about a year ago I took up the challenge of playing bass for a 70s covers band. It didn't work out. The lead singer was a complete tosser and I left LOL I bought this rig in about May last year, it was nearly new and had only home use, I did three gigs with it plus a few rehearsals and the cab and amp are in tip top condition. Now I have GAS for some more guitar stuff and need to finance a new guitar amp. The amp comes with the Markbass backpack case thing with a top quality Speakon lead. The Cab is 4ohm I'm looking for £750. Collection in Leeds or I can deliver within 20-30 miles or so. PRICE REDUCTION, NOW £680 Alternatively a carrier can be arrange at the buyers cost.
3. Is this the right section for this? OK, I'm a beginner, after 30 years of six strings. I've opened a whole big can of worms... This bass line is so good! Can you request transcriptions here? I little guidance is cool. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwnefUaKCbc
4.
Sounds like you are right. The bass notes in the chorus are: Eb Bb Eb D G F Eb G Eb F Your guitarist might be playing the wrong chord or at least the wrong inversion. 5. From age 12 to 44, guitar. Then a couple of months ago a drummer mate said they needed a bassists in his 70's cheesy covers band, what the hell I said, it's only 4 strings Now I'm hooked!!!!
6. Not really sure which section this should be posted in, doesn't seem to fit the groove section... So, in Is She Really Going Out With Him? at the end of the chorus, when the chords go F to Gm, the bass seems to be playing something different...I'm hearing G (5th fret on D string) when the root is F with a Bb on the 'with him' They rest of the band look at me funny when I don't just play F- Gm What do you hear on the recording...?
7. Hi from Yorkshire After 30 years playing the guitar, someone said their covers band needed a bassist, what the hell I thought. I just got a Fender Jazz from ebay, a 60th anniversary model, for less than 600, I couldn't resist as I have the same edition telecaster. I always liked the bass, and now it looks like I'm hooked!
