The send/return is handy for any rack fx that you might have (usually in the same case as your head). Like Liam says, it is usually a blend of dry & FX. Some amps (such as Markbass) have a jumper/switch to chose between blended or wet (all FX & no dry signal).

Well you do get a month with a BF before you have to commit.

[font=georgia,serif][color=#ff0000][b][size=6]PANIC!!!!!!![/size][/b][/color][/font] A 3x10?! You'd barely be heard in a jazz gig with only an acoustic guitar to compete with! What you need is 2 8x10s and 2 2x15s under them with a couple of 10k amps to run them if you're gonna play stuff like GnR with no PA support! Just messin with ya. I've done many gigs with a 2x10 & no PA along with 2 loud guitarists & a heavy hitting drummer & had no trouble whatsoever being heard. Try it at rehearsal, you might just get a surprise.

Into the input socket. Just as you would put you bass into it without any fx.

[/quote] If you want your camera covered for business use with Barclays, they can now do it (if your policy # starts with MHO or renewed after May 4th 2011). All they do is specify it & add a clause.

If you're covering your gear on your Home Insurance. 1: It falls under Personal Belongings/Possesions. 2: Quite often it will only cover about £1-2k if stolen from a vehicle & quite often will only cover in a vehicle if the vehicle is locked & the items are in a concealed boot (IIRC Barclays is £1500). 3: check if it covers whilst you're gigging. Some will cover so long as you don't get paid, some you need to state business use & specify your gear & others won't cover you at all. 4: Making a claim WILL put your policy up next renewal (or if your renewal is close to the claim date, it could be anytime within 10 months) & there's usually an excess to pay. The good thing is, it's usually relatively cheap to cover gear on home insurance.

I'm surprised no one's said Hysteria! A couple of my faves to play (off the top of my head) are: Brown Paper Bag - Roni Size Army Of Me - Bjork Ramble On - Led Zeppelin Sir Duke - Stevie Wonder Peace Sells - Megadeth The Waking - Kurt Elling New Born - Muse New Years Day - U2 Can't think of any others as I mainly play originals & spend most of my time working on them. Although I'm working on a couple of unusual covers that don't have particularly great to play basslines (Satisfaction - The Stones & Crazy - Gnarles Barkley, but we don't cover songs to sound like the originals). Edit - Gotta add some U2!

So when you are off axis, you still get a decent volume. I dare say you probably know this, but it might come in useful for those that don't.

I'm kinda surprised that there's no Jamiroquai or Led Zeppelin on that list either as most of their songs have got stonking basslines. I'd even put a U2 song in my top 10 (No, not With Or Without You!).
